just feel peeved the court system let him do this, which I think lou was afraid of

Remotew · 15/05/2009 21:23

Oh Lou it looks like mine when I've tidied up. lol

Get one of your hunky friends to help clear his mess. Sorry for the DC's.

I'm OK, could rip a teddies head off tonight. This is a familiar reaction to the quitting smoking. (I've done it many times). Also although I'm not eating any more everything feels tight and I feel frumpy. Had problems finding a decent guy when I'm slim so what's a few pounds compared to feeling like I've been hit by a truck every morning. Another plus is that the hangovers are milder. Cheers.

Have a good weekend everyone. I'm out for an expensive meal with gf's tomorrow. Yummy!!!

lou33 · 15/05/2009 21:26

i am so fucked off i cant begin to explain, it's a culmination of everything

Remotew · 15/05/2009 21:41

Oh Lou!! Hope you feel better soon. I can tell how it's affected you. At least you can move forward now with the divorce.

Get a skip. And make it over.

ooh asbm what did you find out to change your mind?

Janos · 16/05/2009 19:56

Hey asbm are you ok? for you.

I was just thinking about you earlier and remember how much you were looking forward to the date. Am about if you need to chat!

lou, you fox! 2 men

I seem to attract younger ones too (get me eh) but after exbf revealed new depths of chippy bitterness tinged with a delightful soupcon of racism I'm feeling rather meh about the whole deal.

lou33 · 16/05/2009 20:42

gosh i am popular today, the guy i went out for the afternoon a few weeks ago ( which was almost sabotaged by my friend v, constantly calling drunk), was in touch again today and we might meet up saturday evening next weekend

i know a nice place available that wont cost me anything

lou33 · 16/05/2009 20:43

janos i prefer younger guys too, i havent dated anyone my age since i split with my h over 3 yrs ago

this one is 28

lou33 · 16/05/2009 20:44

blimey janos what did he say?

Janos · 16/05/2009 21:30

Lol lou clearly you have something special

Oh, exbf had got in touch and we were getting on ok. He is at a party tonight with his family in Edinburgh and I was invited (obv I'm not there now for reasons which will shortly become clear).

Anyway we arranged to meet at a coffee shop and then we would head back to mine and have tea.

Not ten minutes into arriving he started inot a bitter horrible rant, which I have heard before many a time, about how you could only get a job if you had been to private school or ytour name was 'Goldberg'. Honestly I felt my heart sink as I knew he was winding up to the real unpleasantness.

NB This was all precipitated by the fact that he was not invited for interview - every bloody time he takes it very personally and gets really angry and wound up which is ridiculous. Anyway here comes the unplesant bit. And I quote:

"I end got turned down for a washing up job by a bunch of fucking p*kis"

At this point I lost my temper (no ranting and raving). I pulled some money out of my purse and told him to turn round and go back home ads I was sick of listening to his filth and didn't want to spend any more time with him. My parting shot, not nice I admit was "Maybe you wouldn't have such a problem finding work if you weren't such a chippy arsehole".

I then went out and left him to it.

TBH I have tried, tried and tried with him and made so many excuses but I have come to conclusion he is just a bitter, miserable individual who is not actually interested in making any effort to change and I'm wasting my valuable energy and free time being nice to him.

Blimey, that turned into a real rant didn't it. Good to get it out tho.

Janos · 16/05/2009 21:30

Sorry just to be clear all that took place on Friday night.

lou33 · 16/05/2009 22:51

oh janos you sound well rid

good for you for telling him what you thought!
