well I don't know - sometimes you can just log in and leave it open you don't necessarily need to be doing anything.

I havent got the energy to really do anything about it atm - as I have a sore throat and croaky voice need to conserve my energy

I am generally one of the 'if its meant to be' brigade.

I also get the feeling he might be still be a bit fragile from his previous. He put a brave face on it but I sensed it had really hurt him.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/04/2009 20:20

yep i def.agree here
but saying that i don't think that any of us want one under our feet 24/7
they just need to learn to do things our way i think
much easier all round

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/04/2009 20:23

scl theres a good chance that he logs on forgets to log out and wanders off to do something else
i also had the hideous experience of struggling to log out of frd once thought i had but went back hours later to discover that i was still very much signed in

OP posts:
lou33 · 14/04/2009 20:24

i always forget to log off my pc

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/04/2009 20:26

oh god lou does that mean that you're effectively on pof for hours at a time?!

OP posts:
lou33 · 14/04/2009 20:30

lol no i rarely go on there at all now, only when i get a notification i have mail

got one last night from a total munter who also couldnt read i assume, as he was older than i said i would be interested in

Janos · 14/04/2009 20:30

Agree men are NOT the solution to all our problems, very definitely not!

That is not to say I don't enjoy male company though.

ASBM - Are you going to meet that chap?

lou - glad things are continuing apace with exbf

lostinthecity - hope you're feeling better soon. There seems to be something going round at the moment.

ridingjoker · 14/04/2009 20:33

i feel men are the distraction to my problems.

it's only when they take a more pivotal role do they actually become the problem

lostinthecitylover · 14/04/2009 20:36

thanks janos. Think I need some steam inhalation. Actually this tends to happen in most school holidays, well Christmas and feb half term last year.

Janos · 14/04/2009 20:37

Hmm, this is very true rj!

Today, I am envious of people who do not work. I hate, hate, hate office politics.

singledadofthree · 14/04/2009 20:38

oi!!!

just switch me comp on and thats what i see!

and after a hard day in' mill

singledadofthree · 14/04/2009 20:39

oh - that was for rj

singledadofthree · 14/04/2009 20:41

and lou...and asbm for anything else

Janos · 14/04/2009 20:41

lost, steam inhalators are good idea. A couple of drops each of eucalptus(sp?), lavender and tea tree oil in a bowl of steaming water are great for helping soothe and clear a blocked nose. I think a blob of vicks or olbas oil does the same job (similar ingredients).

Children are voracious bug incubators. DS has had a mild cold for the past week.

Oh, and tonight he actually - brace yourselves - REFUSED chocolate when offered it. This is the first time, ever, in 4 and a half years. My flabber was gasted for sure.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/04/2009 20:43

hi janos!
yep i'll meet him but will be extra cautious this time
oh lou phileas has a couple of bikes app.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 14/04/2009 20:49

i think it so is atm.

OP posts:
lostinthecitylover · 14/04/2009 20:55

yes I am a great believer in sixth sense. In fact would almost like to think I am psychic. Perhaps next name will be mysticcitylover lol.

Indie man sounds interesting ASBM.

lou33 · 14/04/2009 20:56

oh i used to love going ont he back of his bike before, he had a honda cbr 600f1 then, now he has a triumph speed triple

lostinthecitylover · 14/04/2009 20:58

god can't spell physcic. well chic anyway.

my brother has just got himself a bike (mid life thing) - brave considering he has a serious accidnet in his early 20s.

Would love to go on the back.

ridingjoker · 14/04/2009 21:02
