hi betty, i use ok cupid, which is free, thats the only one ive tried so far!

supervixen · 28/02/2009 15:06

So I think Im going to meet him! Im so scared! My mum reckons I need some excitement in my life! Tbh, I have really been enjoying the quiet life. Go out most weekend but much more interested in the drinking/chatting to friends than making an effort with the blokes! Think, perhaps I'm going to the wrong places because can honestly say, in 6 months of being a singleton, have not even spotted 1 bloke worth a second glance! Or perhaps I was just getting over my ex! Lol!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 15:19

Blackberry Man him of the all singing all dancing phone that he cant use obv.
he is one of the cmen off FRD
there were 3 of them
intellectual man
blackberryman
topgun
indieman
he was just not my type really, quite funny in
a ok for a cople of drinks down the pub way
and also as hes a brummie he kept referring to me as 'bab'

bettyboo26 · 28/02/2009 15:23

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 15:25

OP posts:
bettyboo26 · 28/02/2009 15:35

Been in contact with him for about a month! Its really hard to tell if theres any chemistry through messages so when he suggested meeting up, thought it was a good idea. Just changed my mind the nearer it got! ha ha. ASBM- no wonder your jaded, you are a busy girl! Perhaps my Mum is right, some excitement might do me good! Better go now, not done a thing all day except feel sick about tonight! Good job DS is with his daddy today!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 15:55

hope it goes ok Betty

inthemistsoftime · 28/02/2009 16:33

hi asbm, are you still in contact with all your cyber man and if so how do you manage it?

I have been avoilding POF and FRD for a week now and I must say its been rather nice.

Bob, we had a nice evening together and chatted loads but I did put him straight and explained that perhaps he wasn't the chap for me, he took it well enough although was a little disappointed.

We have agreed to remain friends, and he still owes me a ride on his new motor bike which he gets next week.

Will now be taking a rest from online dating, well maybe just from the meeting up bit!

Off to get my fancy dress sorted out for this eve.

Will look in later

Hope Holly is having a fab time.

Welcome betty, enjoy your date as well,

inthemists is sending asbm a lovely bottle of Pouilly Fumé which I have in my fridge to keep you company this eve. Or would you prefer a red?

lou33 · 28/02/2009 16:36

i went out with my friend last night and it reminded me why i dont bloody well like going out

i end up having to deal with tossers trying it on and thinking i'd be up for it

my mate picked up a nice woman tho

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 16:51

Hi inthemist
do you think that you copped out a bit by giving him the 'lets be friends..'line?
or are you taking that approach so you can get to ride on his motorbike?
and yes how did you know that i like French whites lol.
Pouilly Fume is one of my favs, thanks for that!
i am not in touch with any cm tho Blackberry text me earlier thought hed taken the hint
obv.thick as well as pervy
Hi Lou
eww.nice!
yes we obv.have up for it tatooed across our foreheads
am seriously thinking of having a specially designed tshirt made with
'Fed up not Hard up' emblazonned across it
hope you both patched things up tho

OP posts:
lou33 · 28/02/2009 16:57

i seriously have an inability to keep my mouth shut when men like that approach me, as all 4 of them found out

i told 2 of them to stop touching me as i hadnt given them permission to , one of them he had to work a lot harder than he ever could to get me and one i had wrinkles older than him

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 17:12

oh Lou!
quiet nite in tonite then?
am having one of those
am not up for a nite out with Blackberry thats for sure
tho he's suggested coming round to mine..
...why cant they take the bloody hint

OP posts:
lou33 · 28/02/2009 17:23

tbh by 10pm i was wishing i was at home

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 17:29

OP posts:
supervixen · 28/02/2009 17:32

sorry lou your night wasnt great, nice job putting them straight though!

asbm - he suggested coming round to yours? must be thick if youve ignored him for ages!!

i am out tonight for a friends birthday, so need a 'Fed up not Hard up' t shirt!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 17:41

haha!
it'll be a nice little earner for me that
what colour would you like lol.
and yes the intelligence of these losers men is truly staggering
havent heard from him for over a week either
had hoped that that phone of his had packed up or that he'd been blacklisted by orange.
hope you enjoy your evening SV

OP posts:
lou33 · 28/02/2009 18:41

am just not in the right frame of mind for going out and socialising , i think

but i am never shy about telling someone to bugger off

in fact the woman my friend met, was because i noticed she was being hassled by a bloke and i asked her if she wanted me to tell him to do one

she said yes, so i did

then we all got chatting and he ended up getting her number (tho he says he also fancied her mate lol)

aseriouslyblondemoment · 28/02/2009 18:46

men eh!!
{asbm shakes her head disapprovingly}
