I've been out with him twice in 2 weeks, should I cancel my date with someone else on Saturday to see him again?

Is the other guy someone you know or is it a first date? Maybe you could meet him earlier and then meet up with the first guy later in the night?

Other guy would be a first date (internet) not spoke to him at all. If I cancel it will be my 3rd date in 2 weeks with same guy..

he asked if I was free Friday but I couldn't do Friday, suggested I could think about cancelling my plans Saturday and he said if I could he would cancel his so we could do something together..

he is quite lovely BUT I wasn't prepared to meet anyone so soon AND I can't believe he is as keen (and as sane) as he seems.

I've decided though that I don't think I have any faith in men anymore

You go have a bit of fun with both of them! If you're not 'in a relationship' with either then you're def not doing anything wrong. Just make sure you can choose between them when the time comes to drop one!!!

meet the first date bloke at about 6 for a quick drink, then teh second guy at about 8, then even if first date turns out to be hideously repulsive you still get to see nice other guy. Otherwise you will feel like you've wasted your evening.

It was awful, really really awful.

I was too polite to just leave, altohugh when I first spotted him I pretended not to see him and sat on a wall for 20 minutes contemplating whether to just walk away. In the end he came over and I pretended I hadn't seen him.

ah right ok should have clarified, didn't mean see them both in the same night - I actually meant one on fir and one on sat! lol.

at least with date you've met before you know who you;ll be with, but then again I like to know how much I really like the man by going out with someone else - if I like the man i'm on the date with as well then I don't normally bother seeing the first one again if I feel bad for being on another date I stick to the first one.

I think I've decided to postpone new date for a couple of weeks and go out with local guy for the 3rd time. I think I want to spend more time with 3rd date guy so I think that must be a good sign.

I said I'd see him (3rd date guy), so we are both officically clearing our diaries... I asked what will we do.. he gave me a number of suggestions and asked what I'd like to do.. have suggested I go over to his and then decide from there.. want to see him on his own territory.

He lives with his mate and I get the impression it's a fucking dirty a batchelor pad.

might go and watch a film or might get him to take me to his local

no, no LD.. he gave me the impression that it was a shit hole lol..

..when I said something like what do you do when people come round and he replied with "we don't invite people round"

I told him not to spend 2 days cleaning but to at least open a window.
