Hi.

I'm a single parent dad. Sadly I'm a widower that is raising a young boy. I'm also a freelance writer and have started a blog about my experiences that may be of interest to parents that use this forum.

I started a blog too, when ex-dh walked out. Consider it theraputic as I have no one really to talk too and don't want to burden anyone with all the problems he gives me. A moany blog

I thought if I had somewhere to offload all the negativity then I wouldn't get too downhearted - I'll let you know if it works!I have one that I started just on a whim but when that happened I needed somewhere.

So your blog looks great, not often you hear from the single dads but the struggles are similar - even if the path that led you to this situation is not! Good luck with it, maybe you'll be the next blogger with a book deal!

Like I said I use that as my vent of frustration so I don't walk around the house like a bear with a sore head!

Just got PP for February and the star letter who wins the lovely Champneys break is in reference to piece you wrote and the single parent on the opposite page.

Had a slightly tainted Christmas, Max has had a horrid cough and cold which flummoxed all our plans. He's getting better now, but has been starved of other children's company.

But his bike went down a storm, and he's cracked riding it today.
