So, anyone got any exciting dates lined up?

I am waiting to hear from someone I like (& he clearly likes me too). It's driving me nuts.

So tell me about your upcoming dates / new lovers to distract me!

i Met someone last night who is a bit yum. Not sure if i want to completely go there but have a date tomorrow or wednesday and he's Irish.

The bad news is that the guy i went out last night just as friends made a pass as me and i couldnt assist in it. It made me feel bad.

jellyjelly · 30/07/2007 15:35

lou33 · 30/07/2007 17:10

not being fussy?

i dunno, i have no idea really, i said on another thread i wouldnt date me i am too stroppy

newlifenewname · 30/07/2007 17:12

Can I just interrupt and ask what you think of me (32) dating a 25 year old. I am absolutely not keen but then emailing him we get on soooo well. I have resisted an actual 'date' due to age thing but maybe I should let go of my preconceptions?

Girly · 30/07/2007 17:48

I have recently, well yesterday actually finished with a guy 12 years younger than me. I did because we had nothing in common apart from sex. If you get on well with him then go for it. Age does not make a difference, it really depends on the individual and their maturity.

Girly · 30/07/2007 17:50

lol at lou not being fussy

jellyjelly · 30/07/2007 18:22

Go for the date and dont think about the age. It is not that important if he was 18/19 i would say no but there is not much difference.

isheisnthe · 30/07/2007 18:34

well, my nm is 25, gorgeous and thinks I am great ( as I do him) big problem for me is am on the bounce (rebound) as I really respect and like him and would hate to hurt him - tricky?

lou33 · 30/07/2007 18:36

i would positively encourage you to date him

my last bf was 11 yrs younger , and hte best relationship i ever had

newlifenewname · 30/07/2007 18:43

Ahaa so not the complete no-no I thought it might be then?

lou33 · 30/07/2007 18:58

not at all

Girly · 30/07/2007 18:59

No, go for it!

jellyjelly · 30/07/2007 19:55

i have a date tomorrow and i am a bit nervous. Met the bloke last night.

lou33 · 30/07/2007 20:51

and?

jellyjelly · 31/07/2007 10:03

wELL I really wanted to go out so i called my friends and one guy that i was ament to see later in the week called and tried to arrange the drink. I said that i was free on the sunday so we met 45 mins later.

We went to the pub then on to another and he suddenly after looking at me abit wierdly tried to kiss me. We were having a great time together and we were talking to a very hot irish guy. Anyway my friend went off to get a drink and i thought he had left but he was off talking to some random girl.

I stayed with the Irish guy till about 4 when the pub shut and he walked me to the taxi with kissing on the way.

This is very unlike me, i met someone from my past but not an ex and we are cathing up with week.

So i have 4 days this week and one next week.

This is very unusual for me, i am lucky to normally get one.

charliecat · 31/07/2007 10:12

I am meeting a bloke next week for a drink. He seems very normal, good laugh, but TBH I dont now why im bothering, Time Filling I guess.

Girly · 31/07/2007 18:23

charliecat · 31/07/2007 18:26

plentyoffish.com

allgonebellyup · 31/07/2007 18:34

hmm im arranging to meet a bloke ive been chatting to for a few days, although im tempted not to, have to travel so far to meet them then its usually a disappointment from the moment i clap eyes on them!!

then you have to drag yourself through the whole date being polite but knowing you didnt fancy them from first sighting!
