DS's behaviour has been just awful since the house move & I'm finding it really hard to cope

He seems to have no respect for me at all atm, and he is constantly pushing the boundaries. He isn't like it with his dad, but his behaviour is just awful with me right now & I'm really struggling with him.
I know this is to be expected, but I can't cope with much more. I am not doing a very good job on the lone parent front & I feel as low as a low thing today.

The smiley chart seems to be making small improvements with DS1, so I am ever hopeful!

It may be a bit of a bumby ride pc but he will get better over time. He is suffering a loss as well and all kids react differently.

Pinkchampagne · 25/05/2007 13:40

I know he is, GF.

He is still very daydreamy at school apparantly, and is talking about daddy a lot.
Yesterday he said he preferred his old house & asked if we could sell this one & buy our old one again.

Since sharing a room, the boys are being a nightmare for getting to sleep!

How is it going PC. THinking of you and the boys. Hope the weather isnt getting you down.

Hi glitter.

The weather is just so depressing isn't it? Typical that it is so miserable for the bank holiday w/e!

Still trying hard with DS's behaviour chart, and it seems to be quite successful, although he does need a lot of reminders!

They are round my parent's house with their hungover father atm! (My parents are away until Thursday) I shouldn't really be sitting at my computer as I have loads to do, but I am taking a 5 minute rest first!
Hope all is good with you.

Everything great now it is all over PC. The relief in the house is tangible cannot believe the stress it all caused which we have lived with for so long.

Have a good day.

Pinkchampagne · 29/05/2007 09:05

Glad all is good with you, GF.

I have my broadband back now, so I can get online more often, which is good as I find evenings can be quite lonely.

I am looking after an extra child this morning & then meeting a couple of friends for lunch, so no time to get bored today!
