Mzdemeanourunderthemistletoe · 08/01/2011 19:27

@ janos - what a tosser - if it's any consolation i've had the same - someone messaged me on soulmates, we exchanged a few messages/bit of banter - then he went off radar - came back a few weeks later and said he'd met someone but would get back to me if it didn't work out ... yes, okay dear, no problem NOT.

and date was yesterday ... and best forgotten! Boring, ugly .... and twitchy ....

Remotew · 08/01/2011 19:33

Mz, now try not to keep checking your phone excessivey for some follow up Grin. Funnily enough my Mr Dull hasn't been in touch from our coffee date, just remembered so obviously not gutted.

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 19:33

Eve Yes i need some space at the moment. It has taken some getting used to spending most of my time with someone else.Would be living in Leicester quite a bit further out than the centre though.

Janos Gosh that is awful what is wrong with some people.I have had down days too recently.I think its the month of January always a bit depressing.I have a birthday do to organise for two weeks time and yet i really cant be bothered.

lou33 · 08/01/2011 19:40

Not only did i get a breadmaker he had also bought me some new bedroom curtains!

Remotew · 08/01/2011 19:41

Leicester oop North? It's darn South to me. lol

Janos, I can remember chatting to someone and then told him I was seeing someone and he said to get back in touch if it doesn't work out. Well it obviously didn't but I would have felt a right cheeky one if I'd got back to him.

Janos · 08/01/2011 19:45

Thank you all for indulging my mini festival of self pity. Kick up the arse and sympathy appreciated :)

BNM - think I do have a wee bit of January blues, often affects me at this time of year. Sorry you're feeling it too.

Anyhow . What's everyone up to tonight?

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 19:50

hi janos i feel the same sometimes, what seems to whave worked today is remembering how well i get on with vimes' ds (his son not a hand-held console WinkGrin) ((((((((()))))

Janos · 08/01/2011 19:53

Thanks aurora. Hugs appreciated.

I assumed you didn't mean the hand held console, btw Grin

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 19:57

Grin it's how my mind's turning today as x bought dd a dsi for christmas Grin
it's quiet here, i'm at dp's for the weekend - dd is with her dad, dp is at work and his ds is at his mom's. so now i'm on fb and mn networking and trying to not feel sorry for myselfGrinGrinGrin

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 20:32

where's everyone gone?

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 20:47

Eve Lol Well i'm in bedfordshire now so it is up north to me.

Janos tonight i am watching tv well in between being on here. There is absolutely nothing on.I just had a lovely salad. No alcohol for me for a while after the state i was in on thursday.

Aurora Hi you haven't killed the thread.Feels kind of weird for me tonight no DG and the ds's are fast asleep.I might have a go on the wii got some new games for christmas haha.

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 20:48

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 20:51

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 20:52

I am getting a little addicted to Just Dance.I'm pretty rubbish at it but i guess it must burn a few calories.

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 20:54

Everyone is probably out on the town.I opened my fridge today and actually had to throw away any alcohol as it was making me feel ill everytime. When does your Dp finish work?

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 20:55

vimes got the dance central one - one of the dance games is a bit difficult - you have to match what the blocky avatar is doing so that your own avatar moves and gains points. very rarely does your own avatar match what you and the blocky one are dancing

aurorastargazer · 08/01/2011 20:58

beaut - my dp?

lou33 · 08/01/2011 21:15

the breadmaker has just made the best looking loaf, i am waiting for it to be cool enough to slice

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 21:21

Yes you said dp is at work.So just wondered how long you are on your own for as i know how boring it gets.

Lou Yummy.I saw Jamie Oliver make some bread with sun dried tomatoes in on one of his christmas programmes and have wanted to try making my own ever since.

Janos · 08/01/2011 21:23

BNM - I have been there, overdoing it with the drink and making a spectacular tit of myself (not that I'm saying you did, hope YKWIM) - More times than I care to remember actually Blush

JustDance sounds like good fun, I might get that and bully persuade DS into having a go too. He loves his games.

Janos · 08/01/2011 21:24
BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 21:32

Janos Lets just say its no wonder DG left on thursday.I was being sick everywhere i was even sick on my arm and was banging my head on the toilet. How classy BlushI can't handle my drink at the best of times.

Just dance is really fun.My ds's love it they laugh there heads off at me trying to dance.

BeauticianNotMagician · 08/01/2011 21:33

I cant believe i just admitted to that how embarassing.I told DG to tell noone haha.

lou33 · 08/01/2011 22:26
