I have to get Carrot to reactivate his POF profile. I am doing the whole attempting to move on thing (ok, with lapses, but meh), but then he in the same text says he can't see me tonight (made maybe plans last night), and then tells me he has changed his phone contract so texting me lots is no longer an issue.

I think he needs to be focussing his energies if I am too or this is never gonna happen!

Nah. You can't like people just because they send you messages. I have even broken off mid conversation with a couple this week . I am of the opinion that if it is work then there is no point.

Slightly weird question... but when I start having sex in an actual relationship (so the whole "making love" as opposed to a f*ck), will I be able to reconnect emotions?

The reason the sex hasn't messed me up with Carrot (the rest of our time together does obv , but not the sex) is because I started separating sex and emotions from the time it all started falling apart with XH. In our breaking up time we had a lot of activity, but it was about 50/50 on emotion based.

I'm starting to worry that I have disconnected the two for too long now and won't be able to feel with it again. :(
