fck it. He's just replied cancelling me. Now feeling sluttish and repulsive. Good thing my feelings aren't involved then... Hmm. I knew from the outset this was going to end in heartache. Kinda thought I had a couple of months before that though.

hatesponge · 31/10/2010 06:44

:( tweet. carrot is a fool. am certain any man in their right mind would have been straight round to see the foxy halloween outfit. tis v much his loss as you're lovely :)

i went to the party. i looked pretty bloody fab even if i do say so myself. wm didn't turn up so spent some time discussing with his friend why he's such a miserable sod Grin had several men smelling my hair which apparently smelt of chocolate. oh, and i snogged a 29 year old. Blush

TweetTweet · 31/10/2010 08:13

He didn't turn up??? What was the decision on why he is a miserable sod? Woohoo for 29yr old :o. One off or got number?

God knows what's up with Carrot. He'd seemed enthusiastic during the evening. Something is awry though. This week he's been like he was that week before he broke down on me. After the speech on Monday about the depth of sex etc it could be that he's realised he's not cut out for the no strings ness. Dunno. Assuming he doesn't cancel tonight I'll find out.

hatesponge · 31/10/2010 08:58

hope you get to the bottom of things with carrot.

don't know why wm didn't turn up, other than that he's miserable. as to why he's miserable, he's had some bad luck over the last few years. he's v glass is half empty generally. i like him ever so much despite that but maybe it's just not meant to be?

29 year old has my no already as he was going to do some work for me. don't know if will hear from him. will wait and see :)

lilac21 · 31/10/2010 11:09

Glad you enjoyed yourself, sponge.

Flame, carrot makes me think of my Violent Veg calendar in the kitchen...is he anything like this?

Went to a Spice event last night, it was ok but nothing special. Chatted to a guy for a while who kept putting his hand on my arm, grrr. Definitely wasn't giving him any signals for I had arranged to meet soldier at 10pm! We went for a drink and had a lovely time. Not sure if I could fall for someone with exGF's name tattooed on wedding ring finger though [hconfused]

TweetTweet · 31/10/2010 11:30

lol personality is quite accurate :o

ew to tattoo. surely you'd have had that redone???

hatesponge · 31/10/2010 16:06

yes tattoo would def have to go!

nothing from party man. it's not the end of the world but last night has made me realise i do need a man Blush a relationship would be nice, but frankly right now i'd settle for a fwb Grin Blush

TweetTweet · 31/10/2010 19:29

Carrot on his way. Very flirty text so guess he's over his thing. Turns out I misread last night's text too... he may have actually been seeing if it was ok to come very late/early rather than cancelling Blush. I had had wine by then.

Meh. Still in corset as just back from party so guess the response to that should answer things

lou33 · 31/10/2010 20:15

hope you havea good time

for anyone who is on my fb i just added a halloween album

witcheseve · 31/10/2010 21:40

Just had a look, nice pics. We got lots of treats in and had a few knocking on the door. First lot we had, I heard someone say 'hey great now we know where you live' as I went to get the sweets, was a group of men I know, (socially not intimately) with their little ones. Had to smile at this.

DD is a bit old for it now and unless one is invited to a party, which I never am, we just like seeing the little ones dressed up.

lou33 · 31/10/2010 22:09

Thanks. Just added three more :)

TweetTweet · 31/10/2010 22:35

why does it wipe my long posts???

They'll be stalking you now :o

Not sure if i have you Lou. I am cp... on st george's or califrau. pic of strawberry standing with something red in her mouth. if i do have you then send me a message!

He's gone home. And the issue is/was....... ...... He is still a big bloody girl!!!! He won't come round just for sex and when he realised how late it had gotten last night he cancelled. I am perfectly happy for just sex. I swear I am the man. During week distractions was work crap.

Had a talk tonight about whether I would want more children in the future. Good that our friendship felt the need for that chat. Hmm Wink

witcheseve · 31/10/2010 22:48

Tweet, was it a serious discussion, yikes!

witcheseve · 31/10/2010 22:50

OMG that clown was scary!

TweetTweet · 31/10/2010 22:54

We had a breakage issue which started it, but it finished with me saying i was no more NOW but not a never and him saying "that's ok then". Which came across as being ok that its not out of the picture in future rather than to the now thing... I swiftly changed the subject then.

witcheseve · 31/10/2010 23:19

Tweet, that's OK, now don't rush into anything [hgrin].

Don't think the dads will be stalking me they are all married. Was quite amusing and nice to see them.

lou33 · 01/11/2010 10:06

The clown was scary and kept turning up where we were. He was v good about having his pic taken and even took his knife out for us
I will look for you on fb flame:)

mummyilubyourtoffeeapples · 01/11/2010 10:23

just taken me ages to catch up on the thread

Elasta, how is the horse?

Sponge, so glad you made the party despite fuckwit XH

BNM Shock at your X

everyone else,

France was fab, lovely to see my friend settled out there and we had a really great time. Slight hitch in that my passport ran out in May Blush(which I only discovered at Portsmouth on Sunday checking for the ferry), but managed to talk my way out there and back here so not too bad. Scary thing was how much RAF and I missed each other.....we spoke every day and lots of texts. He seems to have spect the first part of the week at my house doing all the chores (inc turning round DD1 uniform, bed linen, house cleaner than I have ever seen it), just to be there 'near' me Blush. Then he picked his DD up from his XW and they spent a couple of days getting to know my village. They were at the house to meet us at midnight on Saturday, with my dad, all getting on like a house on fire. Then we spent yesterday together doing halloweenish things, all just totally lovely

is the marital sofa beckonning???

anyway, we need SCL and/or Monty to tell us where we are going on the 12th. Tweet, you are v welcome to stay with me, but RAF will be there (picking me up for the bar Blush), so up to you what you prefer

TweetTweet · 01/11/2010 10:35

I wanna meet RAF!!!!

Impressed with your passport blagging. :o

I am on Carrot text ration. His phone bill was £40 more than usual Blush He says it is up for renewal at the end of the month so he'll get unlimited texts then. Its weird. Didn't realise quite how much we talk during the day.

mummyilubyourtoffeeapples · 01/11/2010 10:44

check in
spent
from the bar

mummyilubyourtoffeeapples · 01/11/2010 10:51

by the way, Lilac, love your photos and also impressed at the dating activity

kdk · 01/11/2010 12:13

How about the Bedford & Strand? It's between Covent Garden and Strand and does food which might be handy for those coming straight from work (or wusses like me who can't face the hangover from hell like I got last time from drinking on an empty stomach!)

I think a trip to DFS is called for soon for a supersize marital sofa what with all the loved-upness round here - hoping it's catching though not sure about a full-on relationship atm - more bothered about finding a job!

mummyilubyourtoffeeapples · 01/11/2010 12:36

KDK, that sounds great, I'd be happy with that location

hatesponge · 01/11/2010 12:51

kdk that would be fab. I used to work in Bedford Street many years ago!

am hoping some of this loved-upness will rub off on me too....and possibly I'll get some pointers as to where I'm going wrong :)

hatesponge · 01/11/2010 12:55

as my work friend put it, I meet men who are interested enough for a snog, but I never seem to 'convert' that to a date!

obviously this excludes WM, who I have had not so much as a kiss on the cheek from yet Grin
