New to the area

Hi All.

I am new to Winchester and looking to make some friends.

DC 3.9 and I have been to several groups/activities in the area since moving but haven't yet found any friends (or people who want to talk to us :( )

Would be lovely to meet some others in the Winchester area.

I'm away for the next 2 weeks so shall we say the 1st week of October?

I'll give DS1 a big lunch so as long as home for 5 should be fine.
He'll probably will want some cake, the cheeky thing!

Scan went well, especially when she ORDERED me to go and get a coffee and a chocolate bar to get the baby to move to a better position! I think I might have spotted a willy but can't be sure....

Eek! Exciting! Oh no I'm already starting to get a tiny bit of bump envy.
I was ordered to do the same thing with ds1.

So which day would be good? Would a Wednesday be good?

Wednesday is good for me - that's the 5th, right? Maybe, 2.30ish?

Cant make the 5th Oct - shame. If you do decide to meet again then please let me know. BTW, does anybody know how to send personal messages here? I have an 'inbox' but dont know how it works. It would be good if we could exchange numbers & keep in touch :)

I just did Aqua Zumba... 8 weeks post natal. I am mad! Seeing women in their 60's doing it though was great.

Tuesday it is then by the sound of it? How will we recognise each other? Should we carry a newspaper tucked up under one arm or similar? :o

Haha I can tuck a paper under my arm. Do we need a hand code?
I'll be easy to recognise: the exhausted, awkward looking one pushing a P&T.

You know I'm sure I saw someone in Sainsburys BadgerFarn with the eBay scarf the other day and did think ' ooh a mumsnetter?' couldn't see too well though as DS2 promptly covered me in milk sick- nice!

Yay; just found this thread in time for cake! I'd like to meet up too, as I'm currently living in Chandler's Ford with DH & DS who's 3, but moving to Winchester in the next couple of months. If we're meeting on a Tuesday, I'll be able to eat all of my cake without having to share as James is at nursery all day

Just found this thread (was on the original one on the Property board). Would also like to meet up but sadly cannot do a Tuesday pm (unless it was before 3pm) so please someone PM me if there's another meet up. Usually I think I could do any time except Tuesday pm!

I am another one with a 3 yo boy (3.6 to be accurate). And an 18 mo DD.

Oh, and I have the eBay scarf (in brown). Love it!
