This is following on from the snacking debate in Food (sorry, can't make links work) and I do understand that not everyone from the same country chooses the same methods, but there are some cultural tendencies. Which one do you select/reject and why?

we have tried to work out the trains from Ruffec to Bordeaux or Civray (where we live) but we are not sure if its a direct route or if I would have to change, I would really like to do that though, I have never been to Bordeaux!!

there is someone on our tuesday market that sells cheese as well, hes english there is also someone who does sausages lincolnshire and back bacon as well!!

a french friend was saying that as a femme a foyer you are entitled to a tax break or something??

Don't know anything about the tax breaks. The benefits are good for SAHM for the first 3 years.

dh is self employed he has his number, its hard to get the medical insurance and all that sort of thing sorted out

I think the system is : If you are married with one income, you pay less tax than a single person with the same income. Then when children come into the equation, you pay less tax still.
Maybe that's what your friend meant by a tax break?
