Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

Thank you for the update, have been checking all day in the hopes that you had gotten to London safely. I cannot imagine how difficult it must have been to gear up for the journey and to also post on Facebook, you are an amazingly strong woman and you are a fighter. I hope you don’t have a long wait for a hospital bed and that you can get settled in and hopefully get some rest.

So funny I was talking about that prince tour with my son today, he's recently got into him and I was telling him I saw him live (sadly just the once)...so reading that sent tingles up my arms..a sign? Prince was afterall the ultimate symbol! Sorry I'm just so elated you are on your way my friend. I hope that tonight- a comfy bed and adequate pain relief- is all yours for the taking xx

Pamela well done, what a courageous and strong woman you are! I really pray that you get some excellent treatment now. If you hadn't gone to London, your family would always have wondered could treatment at the Royal Marsden have really helped you and prolonged your life x

Bloody hell Pamela, you are an absolute warrior. Well done for making what must have been a very tough journey. I can imagine it was very hard to leave Jacob and your Mum, but you’re right that they will prop each other up and it won’t be long till they’re with you. Well done also for going public with your wider circle. I imagine your friends are shocked and very upset, but they will really want to support you, as you would if it was them in this situation.

You have some busy and difficult times ahead. I always appreciate your updates, but hope you don’t ever feel like it’s something you must do, especially when you are tired and now that lots of your friends will no doubt be messaging you too. We’ll be glad to hear from you as and when you can and when you feel you want to. Hope you get some real, practical help as soon as you get to that hospital- starting with some proper pain relief cause goodness only knows you deserve a decent night’s sleep tonight.
