Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

Your photos are so beautiful and you must be so so proud of your husband and son (as they must be of you) I haven't prayed for years but just did now for you and will every day. Thinking of you all the time 🩷

Northernsoul72 · 30/06/2023 18:43

Best wishes to you and your family Pamela xx

EternalDreamer · 30/06/2023 18:44

Pamela I read your posts today and want to say I'm thinking of you. I hope you are feeling some peace & pray for some good news for you and your beautiful family. Sending lots of love, light & strength ❤️

Angelil · 30/06/2023 18:46

Adding my thoughts and support to what you have already received. Thinking of you and your lovely family xx

trickortrickier · 30/06/2023 18:46

Pamela - your words are gut wrenching and really, really hard to read but so so important. Your distress at being let down by the one service that was meant to spring into furious action and give you a fighting chance is palpable. We feel your pain and are angry on your behalf. You have put a face and a name to the mess the NHS is in. We are just a random collection of mostly women but we are with you every step of whatever unfolds.

Bagpuss2022 · 30/06/2023 18:50

Pamela thanks for sharing your beautiful family my thoughts are with you and your loved ones

JackieQueen · 30/06/2023 18:50

Thank you for starting a new thread so we can continue to support you Pamela. And thank you for showing us your lovely photos, you have a beautiful family. Sending you strength and love for this difficult time. 💐💕

Theonlyoneiknow · 30/06/2023 18:53

Sending so much love and strength to you Pamela, and your beautiful family xx

uncomfortablydumb53 · 30/06/2023 18:54

Hello Pamela, thank you for starting this new thread
I'm glad it's helping you through your incredibly difficult days
The stent should help with pain control which will in turn help you to eat or take fortifying drinks
Have you been given any anti sickness medication? Odansetron is often prescribed
I hope Kerr can get hold of the GP
You need everything possible so you can have the stent
Don't worry about feeling to weak to walk Red Cross hire wheelchairs or if you have the funds, they're available on Amazon for ease
Sending you more sustaining hugs and much love Judith, Wiltshire

Thatbloodyhedge · 30/06/2023 18:58

You bloody rock lady...
With you virtually every step of the way love.
Stay as strong as you've proved already
Much love to you and your beloved husband and son and all the familyxxx
Much love from Alex in Derby UK

Dumbphone · 30/06/2023 19:01

I weirdly believe in the power of many thoughts pulling someone through. I will be thinking of you, either that you get some more time with your family or that the time you have left is as bearable as possible and that you can find some moments of love and joy.

As women we are used to being workhorses, carrying on even when things are hard, even when our bodies are tired and aching. It must be so hard to feel so utterly awful it forces you to stop. I can’t even imagine.

The photographs you shared are full of glorious smiles, (your son has a sweet quiet confidence). I bet you’ve played a huge role in keeping those guys together and loving each other over the years. What a gift you’ve given them.

ThatSunCreamSmell · 30/06/2023 19:02

Your pictures are gorgeous Pamela. Sending you so much love and prayers. I really hope there is some light at the end of the tunnel for you.

Many people spend their whole lives looking for one like you have with Kerr. I hope the support and love of your family gives you some comfort amidst the unfairness of it all xxx

mamaison · 30/06/2023 19:02

Praying for you and your family beautiful Pamela

Mugcake · 30/06/2023 19:03

I've just read your previous thread, sending positive vibes and prayers your way. You stay strong 💐 💐💐

legosunqueen · 30/06/2023 19:05

Dear Pamela, sending love & strength to you, Kerr & Jacob. My DS is also 17 so this really resonates. Such beautiful photos 💙 your story is heartbreaking but a diagnosis at least gives a way forward. Love from Lucy in Yorkshire xxx

fionaapple · 30/06/2023 19:05

Just reading your thread - it is bringing me to tears. I truly hope something can be done for you. I'm so sorry that you feel so dreadful and that the process has been so slow. You and your gorgeous family have been let down😓

Purplepeoniesdroppingpetals · 30/06/2023 19:05

I’ve just read your thread and wanted to wish you strength - you’re on a journey that I’ve witnessed with a loved one and I’m familiar with the frustrations and terrible moments. I wish you and your family all the love; all the strength; and all the time - important moments are everything. Your photos are lovely and speak to the love in your family. Wishing you so well, Pamela.

ThursdayFreedom · 30/06/2023 19:06

@WilsonMilson

well done on the link Pamela!!

I posted at the end of your previous thread, so I'm just here, so I get a notification when you post!

just get as much rest and strength as you can over the next few days, you'll feel like a new person once you get your stent

xx

Okaaaay · 30/06/2023 19:07

Sending you love and peace Pamela - you have the most beautiful family. I am so sorry you are facing this.

Evanna13 · 30/06/2023 19:08

Thinking of you every day Pamela 💐

FreefallFlight174 · 30/06/2023 19:09

I've only found your threads today, Pamela (and it's lovely to be able to call you by your name, and look at the photos of your lovely family).

Other people have said it better, but thinking of you and your family. It's a shit hand you've been dealt, but your grace and courage shine through. Flowers

ohhollyfred · 30/06/2023 19:10

Hi Pamela
You are always in my thoughts.
I just wanted to echo what a previous poster had said. My husband was also incredibly Ill st time of diagnosis but as soon as his treatment started he felt so much better. It's easy for me to say but just hang on in there
Xxx
