Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

sweetgingercat · 05/07/2023 00:14

Pamela, I admire you so much, you are fabulous and we are all behind you, rooting for you to stay well, keep strong and get to London for your stent.

Brainstorm23 · 05/07/2023 00:16

My heart is broken reading your thread. Such complete and utter incompetence from the NHS in NI. Sending love and hope.

Shimmyshimmycocobop · 05/07/2023 00:20

Another one watching this thread and awed by your resilience and bravery. If sheer good will were enough to carry you through this you would be in London getting a successful stent in no time. So many people here wishing you all the best that medicine and love can provide. 🙏

Refrosty · 05/07/2023 00:29

Sending you all my love, strength and prayers to help you get through these next few weeks 🙏🏾

uncomfortablydumb53 · 05/07/2023 00:31

Oh wow! If you can possibly find an ounce of physical strength to get to London then I think you should. He has the knowledge and expertise to give you a chance of extending your time
Time is precious and if you get to London the first thing they will do is get you comfortable and relieve your agonising pain
Wishing you a peaceful night
Much love Judith from Wiltshire

Thank you God for your courage in gathering strength to face the journey.
A chance is all you need. You made the right decision. Well done.
So many souls behind you with love willing you on, into the safe hands of the medics in London. Praying for your continued strength and for your family too.

I'm so sorry your appointment with Vass went so poorly and I'm so glad you've decided to go to London. Praying for you.

EpicChaos · 05/07/2023 01:31

Just sending my continued best wishes and hopes that your journey tomorrow is smooth and comfortable and that Prof. Bridgewater is able to at least give you some relief.

" I’d like to think I could be seen as brave and that I did everything I could - I would FAR rather be remembered that way. "

Oh Pamela, there is no doubt in the minds of anyone here, just how very brave and awesome you clearly are and i feel safe to guess, that no matter how brave we think you are, Kerr, Jacob and your mum will be in agreement a billion fold!

Best wishes and the very best of luck to you and your family 💐

PaperwhiteTheGhost · 05/07/2023 01:36

I saw your last thread the other day, and just read this one.

I believe that when it's your time, it's your time and we have to accept that.

But I don't believe that at onlg 45 with a professor of oncology telling you that there's a chance that it is your time. Get yourself to London girl and fight the fight. You have nothing at all to lose and everything to gain.

All of my love and the best of luck to you, Kerr and Jacob 💓

treacledan71 · 05/07/2023 02:05

Wishing you all the best too. I am sorry you have been messed around. Will be thinking of you. Xx

Pamela, I am so happy to read that you have decided to make the journey over to London. It’s horrendous for you and your family that that decision had to be made in the first place but “we are where we are” as they say.

I am wishing you the most comfortable flight possible and hope that you are kept pain-free.

Just remember when you get to London, you and your wonderful family will be under the care of the best team in the world and will no longer have to worry that you will get the very best possible treatment for you.

Darling, I wish you all the very best, and like everyone of your new friends on here, will be thinking of you. Sending you a gentle heartfelt hug and all the luck in the world. I look forward so very much to hearing that you have been stented and are feeling so much better. With lots of love

ZickZack · 05/07/2023 05:45

Pleased to read you're going Pamela, I can't imagine how difficult a decision it was but you deserve this chance. Lots of luck travelling today.
