Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

Saying hello from the other thread, hope Tuesday goes smoothly

PurpleFlower1983 · 30/06/2023 19:12

Hi Pamela, I have just read your thread and while I have no words of wisdom I just wanted to say my love and prayers are with you and your lovely family.

MeeThree · 30/06/2023 19:13

Keep going Pamela! Fingers crossed the stent op makes you feel loads better

overitunderit · 30/06/2023 19:14

I am just adding my support and love to make sure I can continue following your story. We are all here. I found the post on the other thread from the lady who's husband had a similar story to you very hopeful- I hope you did too.

Dashel · 30/06/2023 19:15

Hi Pamela,

You are inspirational and I wish you and your wonderful family get some good news soon. Hopefully the operation will give you the strength you need for the chemo.

I don’t know if you have heard of yoga Nidra? They are guided meditations for things like sleep, calm and healing and there are loads on YouTube. It might be worth trying and keep your mind focused on something other than pain?

Try to keep eating what you can even if it’s little an often, that will help. I don’t know if a meal replacement would be better, something like Huel that has lots of nutrients or the energy sachets that runners take?

Cloudhopping · 30/06/2023 19:16

Oh Pamela, I've just caught up with your last 24 hours (been following this thread from the beginning) and I'm just so sorry that you had such a tough time in hospital and you are feeling so unwell now. Thinking of you, we're all here for you.xx

Orangebadger · 30/06/2023 19:16

Hi Pamela, here again still sending you lots of strength and love xxx❤️

EnergyJaguar · 30/06/2023 19:16

Another one who has been here since your first post. I also had an MRI on my liver recently for other reasons. That in itself was a difficult process. I can’t imagine how you’re feeling Pamela.

sending an abundance of healing energy your way.

Lougle · 30/06/2023 19:17

Thanks for starting a new thread, Pamela. Hang in there. How you feel doesn't necessarily reflect the state of your body and once the stent is in your liver can start to bounce back so you can have treatment. In the meantime, soak up the love of your family.

Barleycat · 30/06/2023 19:17

I've never posted before either but have been following the thread. You're in my thoughts every day, am so sorry for what you're going through. I have a 17 year old son too and it could easily be me, or any of us in your position. Wishing you and your lovely family all the love in the world x

Hi Pamela, I've been following your posts since the very first one, and you are in my thoughts every day. I'm so sorry to read your latest update and hear about how you are suffering. It's not fair that you've waited so long for treatment and you're in so much pain. I really hope you can get some pain management in place soon, you deserve some comfort. Echoing what other posters have said about getting your husband to contact Macmillan or hospice for you. I also hope the appointment on Tuesday goes well and you are able to have the stent, and get some relief from your symptoms very soon.

You and your family are beautiful. Sending so much love and hope ❤️

ChicagoBears · 30/06/2023 19:25

I’ve just read your previous thread Pamela, thank you for sharing your photos, you and your family are beautiful.

You are so strong, stay positive, there are so many medical advancements out there now, now that you have a proper diagnosis hopefully they can get this under control.

Pamela I rarely post anything on Mumsnet, but you've drawn me out from my hiding place. You are such an inspiring person with a beautiful family and you write so beautifully.

I hope you sleep well tonight in your own bed with your amazing man. I pray the pain will ease enough for you to relax in his arms.
