Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

Haha just read your update. Well done! You rock!

Offer stands of a place to stay

Iwantanapnow · 04/07/2023 21:46

You are giving yourself a chance. I admire your bravery so much. My mum is another one badly let down by the NHS - we all made the mistake of trusting them. Never again. I miss her every day and regret we didn’t push harder. You are pushing hard and throwing everything at this
We are all behind you. I would be happy to donate something towards accommodation for your mum and Jacob

TheNinthLock · 04/07/2023 21:48

Traveling with you every step of the way ❤️

Thetilesareblue · 04/07/2023 21:48

Yes can we help with hotel expenses for Jacob and your mum?

isthatmyage · 04/07/2023 21:48

Oh my gosh! Good luck!! I think you've made the right decision! I'll be keeping everything crossed for you! 💐

ltappleby · 04/07/2023 21:50

I was going to post Go, but I see you’ve decided that already. You wanted a chance for life so I’m so pleased you’ve decided to take the chance. I really really hope it gives you more time. Good luck xx

I think if we could all lift you up and carry you safely to London, we would do! Go for it, you can do it. I'm joining the hundreds if not thousands of us here, thinking of you and sending you strength and hope for your journey. xx

roseyposey09 · 04/07/2023 21:55

I've been following your story for a few days and keep checking every day. What an amazing impact you've had. I'm so so so pleased you're going to London tomorrow. My Mum had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, multiple mets on liver at diagnosis. She was luckily able to be treated under Prof Cunningham at the Marsden and he and his team there were just incredible, giving her extra years that we never expected. Prof Bridgewater looks equally as amazing. I can't tell you how pleased I am that you'll be under his care. Sending you all the love and strength in the world xx

Ketchupgoesinthefridge · 04/07/2023 21:57

Cheering you on Pamela 💜

Rockschooldropout · 04/07/2023 21:58

Pamela - I’ve followed your threads since your very first one where you’d gone to the doctors and I commented on your post and then on your subsequent thread
I’ve been checking in every day and having seen your latest update I just wanted to come along and cheer you on - you are one hell of a fighter and I’m so glad you are giving yourself a chance by going to London … and utterly horrified by the way you’ve been treated so far 😣 however you literally have everyone on this thread fanning your flames - I think you are doing the right thing I really do , wishing you lots of luck for your trip tomorrow . X

Kiwiandstrawberries · 04/07/2023 21:58

Pamela why can’t they do the stent as an emergency? I know you shouldn’t have to ,but if you had it done privately could it be done asap! I never swear but am absolutely fucking raging on your behalf!
What a bloody shambles This is your life and they have spent god knows how many weeks pissing in the wind .
Am so sorry that I have vented and probably should be oozing positive vibes but this is a disgrace.
Please accept any help that can get this treatment going .💕Xx

Sunmachine · 04/07/2023 22:01

Sending more love and best wishes for an easy journey and successful treatment Pamela xxx

HaveYouHeardOfARoadAtlas · 04/07/2023 22:02

Keeping you all in my prayers and thoughts.

"May He aid you on every path, And may He hold you safe on every slope, On every hill and on every plain; On earth and on sea until you are home again."

Godspeed

Summer19 · 04/07/2023 22:04

Hi Pamela,

You are absolutely right to go. Give yourself a fighting chance and you will receive excellent care in the Marsden. You will hopefully feel a lot better on your birthday with the stent in.

You have an army of women wishing you well and cheering you on your journey, from Anne in Derry

LodiDodi · 04/07/2023 22:04

Pamela you have been let down by a few people in your local service but there are hundreds of us here who are wishing and hoping for the best for you and we are all so pleased you are taking the chance of a better outcome in London. No matter what happens, you are amazing and you continue to amaze me and many others with how you cope. I'm keeping you in my thoughts, safe and comfortable travels ❤️

LittleMonks11 · 04/07/2023 22:04

So glad you've decided to go. Xxx
