Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

I hope your meeting with Vass goes well, Pamela. Thinking of you always.
My husband was treated at UCHL a year ago and they were absolutely amazing. If you can get there, you must go for it. They provided transport for him although admittedly it was a car journey, not a flight. They also have hotel style accommodation that maybe Kerr could use?
I would contribute £100 too.

Pamela I read your threads last night and just want to wish you well for your appointment today.

you write so well and your frustration with the delays in any treatment is palpable. Justifiably so. I am so sorry that you are going through this.

Like others I am very happy to donate to a crowd funder to get you to London. Please don’t let pride stop you from accepting financial help. You can always pay it forward later.

A few others suggested Dublin as an option as it would obviously be easier to travel to. It sounds like that could be worth at least enquiring about.

It's bad enough being unlucky to be poorly, but when it's made much worse by a failure to treat properly, makes it worse. I'm sorry you have to deal with feeling let down on top of dealing with the worsened symptoms.

Do London. Be the person who asks for help if you need it. If you can fund half the private charter and gofundme the rest, that might be a compromise for you. But never be too proud to fight for your life. There are loads of wealthy MNers for whom £100 or £1000 is nothing.

Thinking of you today Pamela, hope today is the first step to some positive progress. I want to echo what others have said about the need to have someone strongly, pushily advocate for you. Unfortunately it seems to be required these days within the NHS, "trusting the process" isn't enough, as you know. Don't be afraid to be a nuisance! I can't believe you've been left to suffer how you have been, it's inhumane. Sending all my very best wishes, I'll be thinking of you all day from green and leafy Wales. Thank you for sharing your story, and know that there are hundreds (or thousands) of strangers out there desperately routing for you x
