We've coped with surgery, coped with life getting back to normal, coped with regrowth, radio /chemo and resultant fatigue, coped with shielding. And now he has new tumours, has started chemo but his mobility is increasingly impaired by a lack of balance. And tonight, having watched him wobble about all weekend, and I think probably getting worse, I've realised that I'm scared. So scared.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through I had this with my mam and it was very scary seeing her go downhill. Hopefully he has a good care team who will make him as comfortable as possible. I wish I had words to offer comfort at this difficult time just take whatever support you are offered ❤️

I'm so sorry to hear this as well. I've trodden this path and know how painful it is for all of you. I don't have any advice really, except to say that you and the children will be everything to him now so if any joy can be wrung out of Christmas, try to wring it out. Plus ask for, fight for and try to get any help you can, as not sleeping/caring for someone is very tiring indeed.

I'm really sorry .

Use MN to let it all out.

Next: are either of you you getting any emotional or practical support from Macmillan, Maggies Centre, local Hospice, other cancer charities?

Have you both got your legal/financial ducks in a row ( money, bank, , Wills, Advance Directive, Power of Attorney. If not, do it now while he still has capacity.
