My DD3 has stage 4 Cancer

We are in shock, horror, disbelief. Last week she had a sore leg and went to A&E, now she has stage 4 Neuroblastoma and chemo starts on Tuesday.
She's only 3 but she's taking it in her stride. She cried the other night and said 'I don't want to be sick, I just want to go to nursery with my friends' it broke my heart.
The implications are just hitting, our whole lives are turned upside down for at least a year. One of us will have to give up work, how will we cope? Financially, emotionally.
I have a black lump in my stomach and can't believe this is happening to us

I am so sorry for you, your DH and your lovely DD. I don't have any words that can adequately comfort you. Try to take help if it's offered. There will be lots of people who care for you all and want to do their bit for you. Try to find other DP's in the same situation for support

I've just caught up on this thread.

I can't imagine the worry but it sounds like she has some amazing drs surrounding her.

She'll just wake up from the surgery and won't remember a thing. It's going to be a lot harder for you so sending lots of support and positive vibes your way
