My 31 year old husband has been today diagnosed as terminal. His cancer which had gone in July has come back rapidly and now there is nothing they can do Sad. How do you move on from here? We had his sperm frozen to hopefully try ivf but he won't even be alive to try that.

I'm so utterly heartbroken Sad

Hoping your day is going as well as expected and your husband is having a good (pain free ) day. 🌷🌷

Just want to say I’m thinking of you all xxFlowers

underthebluemoon · 01/12/2017 17:34

How are you both today Niffler?

Nifflerbowtruckle · 01/12/2017 18:25

We are both okay. He's still the same as yesterday. He keeps telling everyone he loves them just in case he passes when they are out. He fell asleep with his head on his dads shoulder earlier which I think his dad liked and was upset about in equal measure.

Nifflerbowtruckle I hope you are coping through this extremely difficult time.
Thinking of you x

RedastheRose · 02/12/2017 14:31

Really sorry about your awful news. I have no advice on how to cope with the emotional side of things but would ask you to sort out the practical stuff now. I recently had to help a couple in their last weekend together struggling to get a Will done, put bank accounts into joint names etc. It was awful that during a time that they should have been able to spend together without any extra stress they had to think about sorting out those things.

Nifflerbowtruckle · 02/12/2017 15:40

It's getting harder now he's needing more personal care. His legs can barely support him now.

Wills aren't a problem since we have no assets. The only iffy point will be his bank account. I'm transferring most of the money into mine regularly though just leaving enough for bills so that there won't be lots of money left over.

Thinking of you all

My mum became unable to get to the loo in time. If your having a nurse visit she could arrange a commode for him.
