My 31 year old husband has been today diagnosed as terminal. His cancer which had gone in July has come back rapidly and now there is nothing they can do Sad. How do you move on from here? We had his sperm frozen to hopefully try ivf but he won't even be alive to try that.

I'm so utterly heartbroken Sad

You sound so brave and loving. Take it a minute at a time if need be. It's great the family have been able to spend some time together. Look after yourself as much as you can - eat/drink/rest. Thinking of you..

Oh Niffler, I have no words. Just been reading your posts and I'm utterly heartbroken 💔 for you. Life is so very cruel. I hope that your DH doesn't suffer and that he is pain free soon and that you and his family get all the love and support you need at this terrible time. He is so young. I'm so so sorry you're going through this. I hope your last moments together are very special xxxx

I have just read your thread from start to here. I am so sorry you are all going through this. Your love and consideration for your dh shines through every single one of your posts.

Thinking of you all. Flowers
Wishing you strength and peace.

DH is still doing okay-ish. I told the nurse that I thought he would suddenly get much worse and then pass. That I didn't think he would linger in active dying and she said young people tend to do well for a while and then suddenly deteriorate. She also said young people don't tend to last long in active dying which is obviously best as I don't want him suffering.
