Husband now terminal

My 31 year old husband has been today diagnosed as terminal. His cancer which had gone in July has come back rapidly and now there is nothing they can do Sad. How do you move on from here? We had his sperm frozen to hopefully try ivf but he won't even be alive to try that.

I'm so utterly heartbroken Sad

Just RTFT Niffler . No real words of comfort that haven't already been said but Thanksto you both. I'm so sorry and I hope your little dog is doing better now.

The syringe driver allowed my DH to be pain free Nifflerbowtruckle x

burntoutmum · 28/11/2017 17:29

Be gentle to yourself xx

My thoughts are with you both Flowers

Janika · 28/11/2017 17:42

So very sorry, have been thinking of you both every day but not posted here before. Hoping your brave and courageous husband gets some relief and comfort when the syringe pump arrives. Love to you both. Xx

Nifflerbowtruckle · 28/11/2017 19:01

The doctor has offered some oral cyclizine and has upped his pain meds as he really doesn't want a syringe driver so he is going to try those tomorrow after his next injection of cyclizine. His parents are here and we've all exchanged gifts and he told everyone he loves them.

Flowers for you and DH xxxx

Strictly1 · 28/11/2017 21:55

Not sure if I should say this... I don’t mean to upset you but wish someone had mentioned it to me.
I was with my mum as she died and the nurses talked of how her hearing was the last to go which tbf I knew, but I wish I’d thought more about what I wanted the last words my Mum heard to be, as I rambled. Just a thought for you. Huge hugs x

echt · 29/11/2017 06:45

Occasionally on this forum there are threads that move me to tears, and this is one of them. Niffler - you and your husband are so brave. It's so unfair that this is happening to you both. Sending you love, light and good wishes. Flowers
