I'm due in court tomorrow for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

It happened six months ago and I'm pleading guilty so no trial etc.

No previous and I'm a person "of good character". But my goodness I'm bloody petrified.

I probably won't sleep tonight and I'll I keep thinking about is my dd.

Thanksfor tomorrow

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 02/05/2019 03:13

Greyhound22 · 02/05/2019 03:25

Good Luck OP.

I would be amazed if you got time I would expect (from experience) a SSO - not even UPW with your caring responsibilities but obviously you can never tell until on the day.

TheLoverOfTea · 02/05/2019 03:27

Good luck op..I'm sure it will all work out as best as possible for you Thanks

goldenchicken · 02/05/2019 03:30

@WienerDiva

Wow I am really sorry OP.

From what you say (and your circumstances) and how remorseful you sound, and you pleading guilty and all, I reckon you will get a suspended sentence.

Please come back and let us know! Good luck, Flowers

LoudJazzHands · 02/05/2019 03:36

Good luck OP, hoping for good news tomorrow.

Zoflorabore · 02/05/2019 03:47

Hi op, I echo others that say you sound like a good person who was sucked in and made a mistake. You're human. It happens and unfortunately this has resulted in the court case.

I have heard similar stories and nobody went to prison.
I hope you're one of those too.

Good luck. I have an 8yr old dd too so can totally understand that you are terrified Flowers

JeremyCorbynsCoat · 02/05/2019 03:58

Best of luck To you OP ❤️

Alicewond · 02/05/2019 04:08

I hope your circumstances are taken into account, I also hope people are made to see why lying for another person they love is a bad thing. The police aren’t the bad guys

UCOinanOCG · 02/05/2019 04:15

Good luck in court. I hope you are back later today to tell us you are not in custody.

WienerDiva · 02/05/2019 04:29

@Namechangeforthiscancershit

Yes I know it sounds like madness. However this was all a very long time ago and has been addressed, discussed at length and corrected through the proper channels.

My parents made stupid mistakes as have I. We live and learn from them.

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely, kind words of encouragement.

Dp is on strict instructions to let you know if it's worse case.

Good luck @WienerDiva I'd be very surprised if you got a prison sentence for this. First offence, good character witnesses etc. Sending Thanksanyway because this must be so scary.

WellThisIsShit · 02/05/2019 05:10

Good luck, I hope you are getting some sleep now Flowers

Kel801 · 02/05/2019 05:15

Good luck today OP x

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 02/05/2019 05:22

Lots of us have done dumb stuff. You live and learn. And even if you have to go to jail for a while, just put it down to life experience. It’s never as bad as you expect.

Please let us all know how you get on.

PollyPelargonium52 · 02/05/2019 05:36

I am no lawyer but you may get off with just a caution. It does sound highly stressful however. Will any legal outcome affect your employment status do you think?

Mummyoflittledragon · 02/05/2019 05:38

I’m wishing you all the very best of luck. I do hope you get something very minimal. Flowers

Cantchooseaname · 02/05/2019 05:39

Hope you managed some rest, and that this is all over very soon.

user1497997754 · 02/05/2019 05:50
