Anyone here TTC?

I'm hoping to start TTC baby #4 in August. Is there an existing larger families TTC thread / group, or does anyone else fancy joining me? The groups in the Conception topic don't really seem like a good fit ...

I'm 34
3 children (4, 7 & 8)
3 miscarriages before child #1

Welcome Emmy and good luck on this crazy journey!
Fingers crossed Everything
I guess if you can limit how many tests you do, it's worth getting the more expensive reliable ones but if you go off the rail (like) might want to get some IC too 😀

EverythingNow · 30/09/2017 18:33

I do go off the rails Blush. Then I don't believe the cheap ones anyway or convince myself there's a line (when there really isn't!)

EverythingNow · 01/10/2017 10:48

8dpo and I have a uti Sad

Mumof3cheeky · 01/10/2017 15:22

I'm sorry to hear that everything however fingers crossed that it's one of your early signs of pregnancy like my thrush was and it started on 7dpo

EverythingNow · 05/10/2017 19:00

Spotting started this evening. On to cycle 4 I go.

Mumof3cheeky · 06/10/2017 07:09

Sorry to hear that everything! Hopefully more luck for next cycle x

I'm driving myself crazy here which I knew would happen! Stressing about digital test and weeks indicator 😩

SchnitzelVonCrummsTum · 17/10/2017 22:51

How is everyone doing?

I'm waiting for my period to return to get back in the game. Hopefully in the next few days (I took 10 days of progesterone to 'trigger' it when the progesterone supplementation stops ... took last pills on Monday).

Thinking of you all and would love an update xxx

Hi Snitzel glad you are doing ok and hope you get back into ttc soon!
This thread has been super quiet!
I have booked a private scan for tomorrow but as was just saying in the antenatal thread that I’m not very hopeful as I have absolutely nothing going in my tummy, no cramping/ bloating which is what I’m used to with all the other pregnancies.
I’m very nauseaus however this was the case even with my mmc so I know that’s necessarily reassuring.
So I’m feeling exhausted from feeling ill and also quite pessimistic about tomorrow.
Anyhow I will let you know how it goes and fingers crossed your period comes back into routine soon!

EverythingNow · 18/10/2017 11:17

Hi

Glad to hear from you both!

Not much to report here. On cycle 5 but I’ve been so unwell (urine infections) that we only managed to dtd Thursday. I’ve been ill all weekend and last. Some Ewcm yesterday so might try tonight as feeling better but not holding out any hope at all for this month. Didn’t bother with opks either as ran out! So no idea if I’ve missed the boat anyway.

I know it’s early to have given up hope of it actually happening but I kind of have now.

EverythingNow · 18/10/2017 11:18

Good luck for your scan mumof3cheeky

EverythingNow · 18/10/2017 11:20

Sorry cycle 4!

onefortheroadplease · 19/10/2017 17:53

I had my laparoscopy and cystoscopy last month so I’m back in the game!

Positive opk today so hopefully this month will be successful

mumof3cheeky how did you get on? X

lilydaisyrose · 24/10/2017 12:55

Hello everyone,

Just read this thread so wanted to say hello!

I had my third baby at the end of last year and would love another last baby (slightly worried about #4 being #4 & #5 though!).

Can I ask how everyone manages bedrooms/living spaces? We don't have a huge amount of room just now (though are managing). Where do you put your kids /kids things? Do you all have big houses? I think this might be the reason we don't go for it which seems such a shame when we've so much more to give. We are hoping to move but it feels like a distant dream just now. I think I could persuade DH if we had more space.

Hi all

Scan went great! Little one had a lovely beating heart so that’s what I care for now 😀
I’m aboit to book in to have the panorama test down as apparently I can have it done form 9 weeks now 😳
Welcome lilydaisyrose
We have a 4 bedroom semi
Dp uses one of them for his study
We have the loft as our 4th bedroom which leaves 2 rooms and our 3 boys sleep in one bedroom and it works great right now so the other room which used to be ds3 will the babies to start with then decide but have the feeling this one will be another boy so will probably try and put 2-2 in each room 😀
How is everyone doing? X

EverythingNow · 28/10/2017 09:20

Aw that’s great mumof3cheeky do pleased for you.

How’s things schnitzel?

Welcome lilydaisyrose we have 4 bedrooms, the two youngest currently choose to share and the teen has her own room. So we do have a spare.

I’m 10dpo, just had a blazing bfn on a frer. I know we didn’t dtd as much as usual because of my utis but we still managed once a few days before and once I think on O day so I shouldn’t be this disappointed, but I am.

ownedbySWD · 28/10/2017 09:28

We are not TTC, but managed to buy a six bed end terrace last year. We have six DC. Youngest is nine months old, so still in with us. We plan to rip out the (rubbish) top floor bathroom and return it to a bedroom, and convert the utility into a toilet / shower room. Having enough space for everyone to have their own bedrooms has been a real blessing!

BrutusMcDogface · 17/11/2017 14:11

Hi all!

Having decided not to ttc any more, it seems someone had other ideas................

Anyone here TTC?
Tsotofamily · 17/11/2017 16:43

Congratulations.
Im trying to decide if i should go for no.5

BrutusMcDogface · 17/11/2017 17:05

Thanks, you obviously find 4 manageable then!!Grin

I'm shitting myself!! Life is getting (a little) easier with my three. I haven't told dp as he's away but no idea what his reaction will be.

Mumof3cheeky · 17/11/2017 17:20

WOW Congrats Brutus! Fantastic news! I still only told dp and nobody else. Still sh**%g myself Smile hope you have an uneventful pregnancy! X

Mumof3cheeky · 17/11/2017 17:22

Btw that looks like a super strong bfp! How many dpo are you? or is it more than one? 😆

BrutusMcDogface · 17/11/2017 17:52

Aaaaaaaaaaagggggghhhhhh nooooooo!!

My period is late....I have been feeling it's on its way....then this morning I woke up, looked at my boobs and said to myself "I'm pregnant!" So I checked dates and I'm about 5 weeks!

Bloody hell. I don't think it's sunk in yet.

BrutusMcDogface · 17/11/2017 17:54

Oh and I'm so glad I didn't get the clear blue I saw in little Tesco (£6.50), opting to pop to home bargains instead, where I got three of the cheapies for 79p!!

I have seen loads of pics of the cheapies but never taken one....I have also never seen such a strong positive line!
