@gingergrani suppose until now it just hasn’t been priority. Coordinating I mean.

maybe after today Israel can start to move on and heal, whatever that means for Bibi next year.

stomachamelon · 13/10/2025 07:16

I just can’t believe it. What a day this is going to be!

The remaining 13 live hostages are due to be released within the next 30 minutes

The tears don’t stop.

DH en route home. The first picture is a sign near Sderot (translation: until the last hostage).

Photos from nova this morning, he says a huge number of people attended.

13 living hostages were handed over to the Red Cross Baruch Hashem! ❤

Tamir Nimrodi (20) and Bipin Joshi (24) are not on the list of the living hostages returning now. There is no final confirmation that I have seen, but Times of Israel are reporting that Hamas are holding no more living hostages 💔So much joy and so much heartbreak. I cannot imagine what their families are going through.

Unimaginable joy and unimaginable pain. I don't know how the human heart can deal with any of this.

Wow, this poor woman. I have absolutely no words. And Bipin Joshi's poor family 😞 Knowing they both entered Gaza alive but knowing nothing after that so you don't know whether to be hopeful or accept their death. Horrendous.

Feeling immense happiness and relief for the families who have finally been reunited today. Wishing strength and love to those who will finally be able to bury their loved ones this week, as well as to those who will sadly have to wait even longer.

As always, fuck Hamas and their supporters as well as their weekly marches.

More importantly, am yisrael chai. Let the healing commence.

Humdingerydoo · 13/10/2025 11:58

But also, the irony!!

https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/hamas-forces-kill-32-members-of-gaza-gang-following-start-of-ceasefire-official-says/

"The Hamas official said a senior aide to Abu Shabab “has been liquidated” since the terror group’s campaign started with the ceasefire, and said the hunt for Abu Shabab was underway.

“The security campaign is continuing and escalating until this issue is completely over, and no party will be allowed to violate the law,” he added."

Humdingerydoo · 13/10/2025 12:39

Apparently there are only four bodies being returned today 😞

Cparrot · 13/10/2025 16:00

I’ve cried today, with both happiness and sadness. ❤️🧡💔.
I will never donate to the Red Cross or any UN fundraiser ever again.

Chiaseedling · 13/10/2025 17:22

What a day. So happy for those that have been released but so sad for the families of those who haven’t come out alive. The reunions are so emotional.

i have been following Bipin’s fate - his family haven’f accepted his death. Looks like he is one of the bodies being released today.

I’m truly hoping this is the start of peace. I’m no fan of Trump but he seems to have pulled this off.

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 13/10/2025 18:37

I hope if as Trump states ' The war is over ' / @Chiaseedling says ' this is the start of peace '
that life in the UK becomes ' better ' and safe for the Jewish people living here and that there are no more protests / marches.

PurpleThistle7 · 13/10/2025 19:57

There’s a march at my work again tomorrow. I will again be working at home. I’m ready to start healing now.

gingergran · 14/10/2025 07:14

@PurpleThistle7just goes to show (as we all knew) that the marches were never about peace or a ceasefire

Humdingerydoo · 14/10/2025 15:17

It'd be great if they were to march for Hamas to return the remains of the hostages they murdered and then kidnapped, or in some cases kidnapped and then murdered.

Humdingerydoo · 14/10/2025 15:17

Or kidnapped then murdered then lost 😞

Humdingerydoo · 14/10/2025 16:14

PurpleThistle7 · 14/10/2025 15:18

Or kidnapped then murdered then lost 😞

They definitely know where more remains are and have had enough time to retrieve them. For example the soldier whose body they've kept hostage since 2014. The monsters in Hamas are once again undertaking psychological warfare and torture. It's their speciality, after all. And luckily for them, useful idiots all over the world aren so deeply antisemitic that they're willing to overlook Hamas' absolute barbarity.

24 hostages remain in Gaza. While we can, and should, start the healing process now, it won't be truly complete until all hostages are returned and the dead have received a proper burial.

These 24 families must have lost all hope now 😞

SpuytenDuyvil · 14/10/2025 17:36

@PurpleThistle7 I hope you are OK today and your family was able to ignore the marchers. As @gingergran said, it is not and never has been about peace or a ceasefire. Ever.
