I read the posts on here with interest and often the subject of anti semitism comes up. I was brought up in a town in the South East. My mum gave me a book about Anne Frank when I was around 8 and I can remember asking ' what is a Jew?' as I had never met one. When I was about 14 a girl from northern Israel came to my school and I was asked to befriend her and help her settle in. I can remember being fascinated about her life in a Kibbutz and she used to show me
Hebrew writing. I don't recall ever hearing anything anti semitic about her or her brother as the only two Jewish kids - to my knowledge in the school. I also remember in my twenties encountering a group of lads from North London - white something and them having an absolute hatred for Jewish people. I can remember feeling utterly shocked as I'd never heard anti Jewish speak prior to this. Reading some of the recent posts on here it has made me wonder wherever there are pockets in the Uk with Jewish communities that experience antisemitism where the rest of the UK it does not occur as people simply have never met a Jewish person just their life- to their knowledge.Where I live I have only met 4 Jewish people in the Uk in my life and I am 47. The most Jewish people I have met were in Israel when I visited in 2000.

As a Christian I get disappointed to hear that 'we' blame Jesus's death on Jews. He Himself was Jewish. He was killed by the Roman elite. Many, many Christians align themselves with our Jewish heritage. Many of us have said corporate prayers of repentance for historic ills. I'll shut up now. 💟

hi thegreatest, 💐 I am not echo, but the conversation was in March 24, and in context I believe it was about historical antisemitism (Muslim vs Christian), rather than her saying that this is a current belief held by the church and Christians.
I follow a number of Christian Zionists on social media, like liv layne, Nate buzolic, and appreciate the allyship, prayers, and support from Christians.
Also you’re welcome to post on the thread, it’s mainly a record now of antisemitic events over the world, which we update when we can. It’s not limited to Jews, we just put it on the Jewish board because if it was on the main board it’s likely it would be piled on and derailed.

I felt bad for him - he knew who the aggressor was but he also knew that if he as much as put a finger on her he'd end up being accused of all sorts and end up fired. She proved multiple times that she's not afraid to lie outrageously if that's what it takes.

Oh my god, she is (was) a lecturer! It was very hard to watch. At least she has bern suspended and I hope never works in a university again.

I was travelling today and there was a lot of them on the train with me. I try to rise above it but being near them and seeing them have no care in the world was unpleasant.

Just a little ray of hope - I’m at the Filia conference this weekend - some unpleasant pro pal incidents- BUT a group of Jewish women and allies had decided to put on a “fringe” event - expressing solidarity with Jewish and Israeli women in the wake of Oct 7th.

they filled a conference room in a nearby hotel - 250 attendees- sold out - waiting list - made over £800 in donations to hostage related charities.

a lot of very angry women wanting to do more to offer support and thoroughly pissed off with the silence from mainstream feminist groups.

speakers included Julie Bindell, Nicole Lampert and Heidi Bachman.

in Edinburgh. From social media, not checked to see if this is in MSM at all. Unfortunately given accounts I’ve heard from other schools it’s believable.

Booklet given out at Filia. I’m unclear if it’s a newsletter that’s paid for or something they just distributed.
