Ok I have taken the bait because I think it's important we have somewhere to chat and decompress.

There is an awful lot of name changing going on and we must remember that although it should be, this is not a safe space. We are followed here and that is worth considering (especially if you don't want to be deleted)

I am grateful for all the love and support though and I thank each and every one of you. You are all stronger than you know. I wish I had something profound to say but I don't...: this will have to do!

So desperate are some to blame Israel for everything and as the evil force in the Middle East that one tried blaming Israel for Jordan's water issues. 🤦‍♂️

I had to point out it was the Arab League who planned to do this to Israel originally and Israel responded militarily.

Part of the then Arab League statement makes it clear what their objective ultimately was:

"....the Arab states have to prepare the plans necessary for dealing with the political, economic and social aspects, so that if necessary results are not achieved, collective Arab military preparations, when they are not completed, will constitute the ultimate practical means for the final liquidation of Israel."

No wonder Israel is well equipped militarily and also does preemptive strikes which isn't prohibited in international law.

I have seen that... no information forthcoming.
And the irony of coming on here and then reporting. When they bully and police every thread (in fact mocking at the moment)

I only wish you were free to do this on other boards. People would actually learn about the conflict, facts and some history rather than just believe social media or The Gaudian

I think tonight has been a very good example of why we sometimes discuss things on here instead of on the other board. It's exhausting and mentally draining dealing with that crap on there.

@stomachameleon When some folk were talking about contacting CST I thought it was a bit over the top and didn't really agree with it, but I think maybe I was wrong now after what I've seen this evening. Although I'm still sceptical about what they could do that would be of any benefit, perhaps talks with HQ on how to take this seriously.

Between this and the stuff going around X it's getting a bit much now. I haven't seen this but DH said he saw a meme that's been made on X of one of the Israeli women, which feels like a bit of a tipping point tbh.

I think I am going go do some contacting tomorrow with the thread attachments and deleted bits that I have got. Supporting Hamas and antisemitism are crimes in this country and we have more than enough of both.
I will also email Mumsnet.

We definitely can't do anything about X. I mean governments and the EU have been trying but Musk has some serious personality issues to say the least

However I agree about people asking cst to talk with mumsnet. They are UK based and supposed to be a community for mostly women from all backgrounds or cultures or ethnicities. Therefore they need to act like that. Definitely some extra training and knowing who to contact for advice about posts or anything they are not sure on.
