I'm very glad this space has been established, but I am saddened to see that lessons don't seem to have been learned about why the board would benefit from some posting restrictions (e.g. trolls getting accounts during periods of heightened conflict) and no comment yet on whether there will be improved moderation training on anti-semitism.

It feels a little like we're set up to fail, so let's make sure we use the board frequently so it's not 'removed!' I hope this is a useful resource for our community, and those seeking to learn more (including the unobservant like me, who started a thread to get a Jewish board during Shabbat 😬)

This is not a board for me, but I saw the thread asking for it, and am fully supportive. What it's pinged in my mind, is that there is currently a site stuff thread by Black Mumsnetters requesting not to appear in actives, so that random readers don't happen upon threads and start posting - exactly as I am doing now. You may wish to do the same, which should help give you the space you seek.

Not my space so this is my only post but I’m delighted you have this board. Utterly brilliant and much needed right now.

Although I am a Christian so not my space I am very pleased, for the first time ever had to report a post which was thankfully taken down, what an eye opener this has been.

Good to see this safe space, my son attends a Jewish school, we are not religious but it’s so sad (yet reassuring) to see police cars outside the school for extra security in recent days. We know several Israeli families with relatives/friends who have been affected by Hamas attacks. Nobody wants innocent civilians killed in Gaza either, it’s just a nightmare situation for both sides. Heartbreaking.

Just want to express solidarity. 💐
