June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

natural cycles are very common now in some clinics and success rates can also be slightly higher . They do recquire slightly more monitoring and they work much better if you have regular cycles and you have an idea of when you ovulate . There’s also a higher risk of a cancelled cycle if they miss ovulation over the weekend etc . However you can take a trigger to try and reduce the cancellation risk but it can still be tricky to time as they go off your body . In terms of progesterone I’ve not heard of clinics not testing it typically you still have your progesterone checked the day before transfer to make sure your body has naturally produced enough after ovulation however with you taking Cyclogest hopefully it should be at a good level but I would personally still get the progesterone checked to make sure it’s at a good level . I know a lot about different cycles if you have any more questions x

@TheBreezyKoala I had modified natural and never got my progesterone checked (I’m on NHS). I had a trigger shot 7 days before transfer, started progesterone 2 days later and continue to take it. Like your nurse said, your body is producing enough in modified natural so the suppositories are just a precaution.

I had my FET on 23rd June ☺️ my 1st FET in april sadly didn't stick. Had my 1st faint positive yesterday, hoping my lines keep getting stronger ❤️

3 x 10/10 on care mapping grading. 1 left in freezer.

So sorry I’ve been MIA, been having bad anxiety for the last few weeks so needed a break from Mumsnet! I’m delighted to say I’m 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant as of yesterday and next scan scheduled for July!

@KP1091 try not to worry. I bled early with my youngest to the point I soaked through my clothes, yet everything turned out well. I remember how scary and awful it was though, so please take care of yourself.

I had a stark white FRER test this morning at 8dpt so I'm pretty sure I'm out! Will wait until official test day on Friday now and if no joy, I plan to ask the clinic to transfer our remaining two embryos as soon as possible. I'm hoping as I've miscarried before and I'm about to turn 35 that they'll entertain a double transfer, especially as the gradings are not great on the two remaining embryos, with one also being a day 6 embryo...

Phone call update.

my beta has risen again but it’s not doubling and is way below where they would expect it to be.
But it’s still high enough that they can’t say I’m not pregnant or I’ve lost the pregnancy

so I’m to go for a blood test and scan tomorrow.
bht the doctor has written
“medication is likely preventing the inevitable negative outcome”

Hi, it's the care mapping grading, it grades it on the cell devision and timing etc, very clever tech and I got a video of my embryo from fertilisation to blast.

Thats awesome! Keeping my fingers crossed for you that they darken! X

Sorry to hear about the uncertainty @KP1091, will be thinking of you tomorrow. That sounds wise to try and stay in the middle ground but I know it’s hard to do.

@PlanBFertility26 thanks for thinking of me. I started bleeding yesterday and passed what I believe to be my embryo.
the clinic had me in for a scan today which showed no gestational sac but until my bloods come back tomo they won’t confirm that it’s a miscarriage and I have to keep taking my medication.

Testing with first urine on an FRER now. Line is still faint at 9dp 5dt. It’s been the same sort of faint for 3 days running. Beta is supposed to be Saturday but the clinic don’t open so it could be Friday or Monday

@Umbrellaladi sorry you’re unclear about your tests. It’s quite a blurry photo but I can still see the line very clearly. Hope it darkens for you.
