Hope everyone is doing okay trying to read back on the chat and catch things I’ve missed . Good luck for your repeat beta on Monday ! @KP1091 xx

Umbrellaladi · 28/06/2026 09:40

I’m day 5 post 5 day blast transfer and tested this morning and it was negative. Anyone have any positive stories about getting a positive after a negative on day 5? Xx

Sheffters · 28/06/2026 09:42

Did you have a trigger shot or is this FET?

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 28/06/2026 09:47

Which type of test did you use @Umbrellaladi

Umbrellaladi · 28/06/2026 11:28

It’s a cheap one (plain strip) from Amazon but it’s sensitive at 10 which is the same as frer xx

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 28/06/2026 12:10

@Umbrellaladiif you can I would wait 48 hours and test again. When I went down a complete rabbit hole on testing on Reddit, people seemed to be of the view 7dpt was more informative with an FRER. I was nutter and tested at 3dpt (obviously negative) then was too burned to test again before my OTD at 10dpt. The Redditers also said that if the embryo wasn’t hatching at the point of transfer then it pushes things back a bit. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Umbrellaladi · 28/06/2026 13:57

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite thanks so so much xx

PlanBFertility26 · 28/06/2026 20:35

@Umbrellaladi id guard your heart. In both my positives, I got my BFP at 4dp5dt. By 5dp, quite obvious especially with a sensitivity of 10.

I hope I’m wrong for you x

@PlanBFertility26 thank you too for that I really appreciate it.

there are 2 more blasts left but poor quality 3cb and 3cc…..have you heard any success stories about those?? Xx

PlanBFertility26 · 28/06/2026 20:58

@Umbrellaladi ive not yet had any success unfortunately.

4AB - MMC at 7wks
4BB - BFN
4AC - BFN
4AB (euploid) - chemical

It appears even the ‘pretty embryos’ don’t make babies

Oh I’m so sorry. They are all good grades. Mine are DEnfrom a 32 year old with proven fertility (and obviously my child’s donor). Did you have good lining etc? Xx

Umbrellaladi · 29/06/2026 00:24

I found this research article about the outcomes of embryos with less than optimal grades xx

mumtrovert · 29/06/2026 10:18

Fingers crossed that it’s just too early @Umbrellaladi it’s still possible.

Today is my OTD and I’ve been booked for a scan on the 15th July. I was surprised that that’s not actually so far away.. although I’m sure it will absolutely drag! I’ll be 6+6 then.

jenk91 · 29/06/2026 10:54

congrats @mumtrovert how are you feeling?
I did my first Lubion last night, and apart from find it so fiddly because i have the vials and syringes etc. it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, it’s sore but not unbearable! I think because I’m also on clexane it’s just going to start to become hard to find a space to inject.

TheBreezyKoala · 29/06/2026 12:04

Hi ladies! Congrats to all the positive outcomes and heartfelt apologies to those nursing sore hearts at the moment 🙏 I was the first person to get a negative and be out this time all those pages ago! I had a clean negative test and found it really hard to come to terms with, I can't imagine what it's like to have a positive turn negative outcome, just absolutely awful thinking of all those in that situation 🙏

I hope it's ok to ask, I had a follow up app today and were doing a 'natural cycle ' next month with low dose steroids from the start as I had what they believe to be a histamine reaction to the PIO injections last time which didn't happen before. I won't need these injections this time just cycologest but they're covering all basis to give embryo the best chance.

Just wondering about the practical side of things, is there a lot more monitoring this way with scans to time ovulation trigger? And regarding progesterone they're happy enough that my own body will produce enough and the pessaries are just extra precaution. The nurse said testing progesterone adds cost without any benefit in my case, do you think it's ok not to monitor progesterone in this case and just assume it's at good levels?

If this isn't an appropriate message feel free to ignore any info would be greatly received though as this is our first modified natural cycle

Thanks a mill

Umbrellaladi · 29/06/2026 12:39

Hi all congrats @mumtrovert !! 🙌

Re progesterone it is different when you have DE and you remain on hormones for months after a beta to support the pregnancy.

I'm negative today again. I asked the nurse at the clinic if she had seen any positives after a negative urine test and she said people don’t normally test before a beta and if they do they tell her so she wouldn’t know. Will test again tomorrow.

Massive fairy dust to all xx

mumtrovert · 29/06/2026 14:45

Ahh glad your lubion isn’t too bad @jenk91! I’m okay thanks, feeling nervous as I don’t think my line was very strong in the beginning but comparing my line this morning to my DS’s line at the same stage, they look much pretty much identical. So fingers crossed this one turns out OK. I’ll feel better after the scan for sure. Last time I had a scan we were told there was no longer a heartbeat so going to be quite triggering I think.

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 29/06/2026 15:59

Great news that you’re booked in for your scan @mumtroverthope the time passes quickly and wishing you all the best for it ✨. Mine is this Thursday 😅

@UmbrellaladiI’m surprised the clinic said people dont test before the beta! Maybe they do but just don’t fess up. Keeping everything crossed for you

@TheBreezyKoalaI’m glad you have a plan in place 🤗. I’m afraid I haven’t done a natural cycle so can’t share anything but wishing you all the best for it 💫✨. People do seem to get good results from adding steroids to protocols

mumtrovert · 29/06/2026 16:03

@TheBreezyKoala sorry I also meant to reply to you to say I’ve only ever had medicated I’m afraid! But I think it’s always good to switch things up and see if you respond differently. I would probably pay to have progesterone checked the day before transfer but wouldn’t bother after if all was OK. I’m medicated with just pessaries and mine was fine before transfer (56 or something). So with the fact you have a corpus luteum (sp?) and pessaries together, should be plenty. But I’d always check before transfer, feel like it’s just good reassurance that all is prepped & ready to go.

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite oh good luck for Thursday lovely. How far along will you be? Any symptoms yet?

Starsandmoonalways · 29/06/2026 16:51

BFN today on beta test. Kinda knew it so not surprised. But still sad. I’ll need sometime to process as the eggs were those from when I was 37, which I feel was my ‘best chance’ and now I don’t have much faith in my 41 year old eggs. And it was a euploid. I know it’s not their fault but it feels so cruel when they say please stop all the hormones you’re taking. Maybe it’s just me.

PlanBFertility26 · 29/06/2026 17:34

I’ve just started my bleed after stopping the meds for the chemical. Had a chat with consultant. Having EMMA/ALICE and immune bloods between day 15-25 and then have a natural cycle which I’ve never had before.

@TheBreezyKoala interesting what you said about reaction. Not sure if you remember but I had huge whelt marks after my lubion injections. I may mention that if prescribed again next time!

@Starsandmoonalways really thinking of you and totally get what you mean about when they say “you can stop all the drugs now”. I really hope you can do another cycle with your OE and do testing to get the best change from another cycle. And maybe another opinion if you feel it would help? Take extra care xxx

Blueskycat · 29/06/2026 19:14

@Starsandmoonalways so sorry about your beta. Agree that “please stop your meds” feels brutal… just so final.

@TheBreezyKoala I’m doing my first natural cycle (after 3 medicated) this time round. Yes there are more monitoring scans, I had 3 but I have longer cycles- if your natural cycles are shorter you might only need 2 scans. I didn’t have a trigger injection, I think because I was about to ovulate on the last scan but not sure exactly.
Re progesterone, I’m on 1 Lubion and 2 cyclogest per day, haven’t had any progesterone testing. I have found this cycle so much easier than the medicated ones in terms of side effects and how I feel mentally, I think the estrogen really doesn’t agree with me… best of luck for your next cycle!

@PlanBFertility26 glad you are able to move forward quickly with some more testing and another cycle. Natural was gentler than medicated for me, hope it’s the same for you, best of luck.

@mumtrovert yay another milestone to have your scan booked! Although sorry it’s triggering after last time 💔 Hoping you can get a bit of reassurance from the fact your line looks the same as your DS’s at this stage, that’s a really good sign.

@jenk91 the real estate pickings on my belly are SLIM after 2 weeks of lubion and Clexane! They don’t stay sore for long though so I’m doing ok swapping sides each day. We can do it!

I’m testing on Thursday, anyone else testing this week? I’ve been feeling ok but the anticipation of test day and how I will cope if it’s another negative is starting to creep in… I think because I’ve never seen a positive test I can’t believe it’s even possible!

mumtrovert · 29/06/2026 19:30

Oh @Blueskycat I have EVERYTHINGGGGG crossed for you for Thursday. How many dpt will that be?

@PlanBFertility26 @Starsandmoonalways really sorry about your experiences this time. It is incredibly ‘final’ isn’t it. Take your time to fully process it all. Hoping your next cycles are your sticky BFP x

mumtrovert · 29/06/2026 19:31

Also @CMGC I really hope your 2ww was successful. Hoping you’ve not popped back as you’re too busy celebrating x
