April FET 2026

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

what timeline did clinics give everyone for testing? This time my clinic has said 9DPT but precious cycles it’s been 11 days!

@Peonies94 that’s early for a OTD! It was 10 dpt for me! I always see US clinics do 9dpt .. I don’t get why clinics wait longer .. some do 14 days 🤪
What day are you on now? Day 3? How are you feeling?

@ivfchat I agree, I thought it was early, but also think it seems a reasonable wait as usually it’s 14 days from ovulation so makes sense with a 5 day embryo!
no symptoms, yesterday I think I felt quite positive and then today not so much, I think as I haven’t really had symptoms and this matches more with my failed round rather than my positive, but trying to keep myself distracted.
I’ve ordered tests tonight that are due to come Tuesday, so I can’t be tempted to test before then!

@Peonies94 i think you’re right .. I tested on day 3 and I had the worst day, met a friend for coffee and cried I felt so hopeless - the test was obviously negative but I still thought it was all over .. and I really didn’t feel anything all of that day .. nothing.
I think day 3 is always a tough one mentally because it’s too early to see anything or feel anything yet your mind is saying you should feel something .. awful, but you’ve survived it and tomorrow you’re one day closer 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I think 9DPT is reasonable @Peonies94 . Like others have said it seems to vary clinic by clinic. My clinic’s OTD is always 13DPT, but honestly that feels OTT because you’d be like 4 days after a missed period by then (18DPO). However, I’m with the NHS and I think they like to leave it until it’s 100% certain and reduce the risks of “chemical pregnancies” which I guess I understand. I’d already mentally decided I’d test at 9DPT for this transfer, but let’s see if I can actually get there first!!! 😂
Echoing @Ivfchat also that I found day 3&4 the hardest after transfer. The first couple of days I felt twinges and then nothing 3-4 then I started getting very distinct cramping on the evening of day 5 and all of day 6. Other than that NOTHING! However, I can see how it must be hard when you’ve had both outcomes and know how you felt for each. I have to say that’s what makes me a little more nervous going into this one as I know I’ll be comparing how I felt last time and getting down in the dumps if I don’t get the same signs in the wait. Hang on in there! 🤞🏼 x

Hey everyone! Just an update from me - I had my transfer on the 9th with a 5AA and got my BFP on 7dp5dt! Official test date is tomorrow, I am so stunned and still in shock it’s worked. Over the moon and very queasy already. Sending so much baby dust to you all ✨

My blood test is schedule for 12DPT (tomorrow), i guess anything between 9 and 14 is really what we see normally.

@Ivfchat @AnonTTC i agree, you definitely go through waves of positivity and then feeling like it definitely hasn’t worked!
yeah I’ve decided I’m going to test Tuesday. I had my first positive last time 4dpt, so this time I’m trying to hold off until 5, it may be 6 though depending when tests arrive!

I'm on CD10 so just starting ovulation tests. I'm going to have to be really paranoid about it cos I did a trial run last month and there were 2 or 3 times where I forgot and wee'ed straight into the toilet like a fool 🤦‍♀️ My clinic says to test twice a day at 7am and 7pm but I'm nervous that it's going to miss my surge cos I found last month that I got a negative on fmu and a positive on the second one at 10am ish.

Unfortunately just had the call that our 5AA embryo didn’t survive the thawing process which did totally knock the little confidence I had.

But I’m reminding myself we are very fortunate to still have other frozen embryos so the second they thawed has survived it and the transfer will still go ahead.

I am sure I’ve seen someone else on this thread is also having a transfer today - best of luck! And good luck to anyone who is testing today!

Glad we've got somebody else who's not quite at transfer yet @taytay2020 - mine was due to be today but has been delayed, so providing it does go ahead I think I'll be around a similar time to you 🤞

Sorry I have been a bit quiet on here, wanted to forget about my upcoming transfer prior to today.

So lovely to see lots of BFPs over the last week and hello to all of those who have joined!

I am waiting for my film in the cinema to start before heading over to the clinic. Hoping that our embryo thaws ok later this PM.

@Pregnant4456 good luck for your transfer today! Don’t worry about the thaw the embryologist said it was less than a 5% chance of it not surviving the thaw and I’ve taken them odds for this thread 🤞
