April FET 2026

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

Wow !! Did you had a 2 embryo transfer ?

@MyLau yeah we transferred 2, one of them was a day 6 embryo so I wasn’t giving that one too much hope … but I think maybe both might have implanted 😬…

@Peonies94 @Ivfchat my clinic does the OTD on 9dp5dt, then they'll ask you to do another blood test a couple of days later to check HCG progression.

Amazing news, @Goldie113. Congrats! Hope this streak of positivity would keep coming. :)

Luckily our embryo thawed properly. Didn’t go through the catheter on the first attempt so they had to do it again. Not ideal having your legs wide open for a good 25 minutes but eventually they managed to get the embryo out!

Now in the TWW. My OTD is 1st May on 11 DPT but I think we will test 10DPT. I have been pregnant about 8 times so I think I will know whether it has worked before then.

Any tips for getting though it would be massively appreciated appreciated!
Who else is transferring in the next couple of days?

@Ivfchat - such great numbers. Deffo agree potential for both to have had implanted. When is your scan?

@Pregnant4456 so glad all has gone well! I had a very similar situation and it took two attempts at the catheter before it worked for me too. Must be much more common than I thought!

My OTD is also on the 1st of May but both my two previous transferred showed strong positives by 9DP5DT so I’m going to test next Wednesday.

I promised myself I wouldn’t over think it this time but already taken my temp 3 times today as I was convinced I feel warm but I think I’m imagining it.

I just want to wish the next week away now!

I would keep as busy as you can.. plan things that you have to go to! And do some light walks .. apparently good for blood flow .. and apparently laughter works - so if anybody says anything remotely funny laugh .. hard 😂

Accept that you’ll go through ups and downs and go easy on yourself for that … and when you’re feeling hopeless that’s when you need to get out and do something!

The 2ww is SO HARD!

I am wondering if 2 implanted … my numbers are pretty high but it could also be one really strong one so I kind of feel like maybe I’m being a bit silly thinking 2 implanted .. my scan is next Friday 1st so we’ll have to wait til then to find out 🤪

Got super excited with all the good news here that I ended up caving in to do an HPT at 5dp5dt. I got a BFN. Way to go, me! I sure do know how to create my own misery. 😅

I’ve just tested and gotten a negative on a FRER. I tested positive at 4DPT last transfer and it had gotten quite dark by where I am today, so I think I’m out. Will continue to test for a few days though!

@SunshineCorazon24 what tests did you use? It’s still early … something can still show yet 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

@Peonies94 I had a negative on a FRER with my successful cycle at 4dp5dt.. you’re not out .. remember every cycle is different, in my experience even with a successful cycle I was staring at a stark white FRER at this point..

Early testing is hard and easy to spriral when you see a negative .. it’s the worst feeling. You’re both very early today.

@Ivfchat when did you get your first positive on a FRER?
i would be very shocked if anything changed from now but will continue to take my meds etc. At least I can start to accept the result and deal with the news more gently. I have today and tomorrow off of work so at least some time to process it!

Aww i would definitely say you’re still both so early at 4/5DPT! For my last cycle I ended up in a lot of google holes looking at when tests are positive etc and it was such a mix.. I’d say 7DPT felt like the first actual reliable day (obviously some tested positive before then but lots didn’t). Remember, 4DPT is only the equivalent to 9DPO and I definitely wouldn’t be counting myself out at that stage ❤️ sending love and don’t give up hope just yet @Peonies94 @SunshineCorazon24 x

@Ivfchat I used Clearblue Ultra Early PT. I agree that it's probably too early for me to test - my BFP didn't come until 7dp5dt when I got pregnant last year.

I'd try to avoid testing tomorrow - but since I got HPTs lying around, it's going to be a real challenge. 🤣

Try to keep busy today … every chance something can show up tomorrow … honestly I had nothing on a FRER both in the am and pm on day 4… then on day 5 I did …

@SunshineCorazon24 i am a terrible early tester and I totally believe positives show early …. But even with those views I still think 5dp is very early … I think something should be starting to show on 6/7dp so don’t count yourself out.. you’ve got a couple of days yet 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

@Ivfchat this is why I think I’m out, I’m 5DPT and last cycle 4DPT negative in the morning but positive by the evening on a FRER. Today I’m negative on a FRER at 5DPT. I’ll test again tomorrow just incase but at least I can start to process it now anyway!

it just feels so much harder this time, knowing it was our final chance. I don’t feel ready for that but could also have kept trying forever and spent money we don’t really have, missed out on time with my child etc etc, so I do know it’s time to step away!

@SunshineCorazon24 yes sending love to you too! It’s so tough isn’t it! I agree I’m going to do the same, continue all the meds and injections until the weekend and will test tomorrow and probably most days until Saturday, but I think I’ll know for sure from tomorrow!

Well I'll be keeping everything crossed those results change for you both, but I understand feeling a bit deflated when you have a positive by this point last time.

I went for my scan this morning, and luckily my lining has caught up! Our transfer is now booked for 27th (Monday), so just a week delay to when it was due to be last time. Feeling relieved and grateful it can go ahead, but obviously now new nerves of whether or not it will work are creeping in!! x

@Pregnant4456 your original message really resonated with me because I am currently taking stims after a week 9 miscarriage last November (that was my first IVF round with only one blast made and transferred under a FET) and I'm due to go to Greece in June; its looking like I might be having a fresh transfer this time round (if we have blasts to transfer hopefully), but I'm concerned that I might be abroad when I could be 8/9 weeks pregnant. How did your clinic react to you planning on being abroad 6 weeks after transfer? Or do they not know?

If I was put on a FET again I would look to transfer after holiday.
