April FET 2026

Pregnant4456 · 01/04/2026 21:24

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

@Bubbles14 yesssssssssss!!!! When you said about the period cramps I thought that was such a good sign! When is your OTD, do they do bloods? So exciting!
I’m on my way for bloods now!

AnonTTC · 15/04/2026 09:26

Aww congratulations @Bubbles14 !! I also thought it was a good sign when you said about the cramps because that was the only sign/symptom I had too. Bet you are over the moon :) There really is no better feeling than seeing that positive test after years of heartbreak.. so pleased for you.

& thanks every re the extra oestrogen. I'm feeling okay about it at the moment and hopeful my lining will catch up. It's more of an inconvenience than anything and a bit of a lesson to not worry about every little thing because something you've never even worried about will probably catch you out anyway!! haha. Got SUPER bad headaches today so hoping that means the extra drugs are kicking in.

Good luck with your bloods @Ivfchat - I'm definitely feeling like it's twinnies based on your tests!! Like you say, probably feels surreal after it took so long for your first but sounds like you deserve some good luck after the tough journey you went through previously ❤️

Hi. Hope you don't mind me jumping in this thread as I'd really appreciate the company of people in the same journey.

I'm scheduled for FET tomorrow provided that our frozen 4AB would thaw well. If I'm being honest, I'd say that I'm feeling extremely anxious about tomorrow as this will be our first transfer after my miscarriage last year. I would've been due to give birth this week if we didn't lose our little one.

So far, I've read quite a lot of cheerful exchanges and positive outcomes in this thread. I'm hoping that those positive vibes would somehow rub off on me.

Ivfchat · 15/04/2026 09:34

@AnonTTC i really am beginning to wonder .. got a 2-3 on the CB digital today and the start of a dye stealer on the FRER.. my mind is spinning
my hcg was 128 at 9 days past transfer on my successful cycle so let’s see what today brings at 8 days past .. 😨

Ivfchat · 15/04/2026 12:42

Results are in .. 262! Pretty high.. next bloods on Friday 😨

AnonTTC · 15/04/2026 16:59

Hi @SunshineCorazon24 - hope you're feeling okay for your FET tomorrow. 4AB sounds like a fantastic quality embryo to me so I'm sure it will thaw no problem :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, and it is completely natural to feel anxious going into this transfer as your brain will naturally be thinking the worst. I also understand how hard it can be thinking of the various landmarks you'd be reaching if your pregnancy had continued, especially with such a big moment happening the week you'd have expected to be giving birth previously ❤️ I know not everybody would think this way, but if our transfer works we would actually be due around the same week we miscarried this year, and I was trying to take that as a sort of spiritual sign, so hopefully it might be the same for you.

Great numbers for you @Ivfchat - your tests/numbers are like mine were at 12/13DPT!!! Will be interesting to see how they look on Friday. Will they be able to tell if it's multiples from that?x

MyLau · 15/04/2026 17:06

How is everyone doing ? I'm currently 7DPT, didn't test yet, i have no symptom appart from small pressure/pulling in the uterus since the transfert, with occasionnal twinges. Blood test only monday, i think i'll test on saturday 10DPT

Peonies94 · 15/04/2026 17:14

@Bubbles14 anazing! Another positive

@SunshineCorazon24 sorry to hear of your miscarriage! We’re feeling exactly the same here! So hard going into a transfer after a miscarriage!

Ivfchat · 15/04/2026 17:33

@AnonTTC i don’t think we can be certain until we see a scan … but id say if its 600+ on Friday (10days past transfer) we might be looking at 2 having implanted? 🤪 seems bonkers to be even thinking like that … I’d be beyond delighted.

@MyLau that sounds promising!!

@SunshineCorazon24 that’s a great quality embryo!!! Fingers crossed 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Peonies94 · 15/04/2026 20:39

@Ivfchat I had my transfer and 11 days later my bloods were 900! My first positive was 5dpt and I didn’t have a line as strong as yours. There was such a mix of results arounr some really low and some much higher than mine! I think only reliable way is the scan, it seems just completely random! I hope the result is what you want 🤞 I found the positive to the first heartbeat scan tte most daunting of all! It’s so tough and I just constantly tested!

Ivfchat · 15/04/2026 21:18

@Peonies94 oh wow that was really high! Did you transfer 1 or 2? And you had 1 baby?

SunshineCorazon24 · 16/04/2026 04:05

Thanks for the kind words @AnonTTC and @Peonies94 - really appreciate it. Just finished the transfer today. Now, all I have to do is wait and hope for the best.

Great numbers @Ivfchat! Keep us posted how Friday goes.

SunshineCorazon24 · 16/04/2026 07:22

I'm having light spotting after my FET this morning. I don't think this happened to me before. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Peonies94 · 16/04/2026 08:05

@Ivfchat i transferred one. Unfortunately mine ended in a miscarriage at 9 weeks, but it was a single baby at the 7 week scan.

@SunshineCorazon24 good luck 🤞

I’m in work this morning and then it’s time for transfer! Hard to focus on anything really!

AnonTTC · 16/04/2026 11:27

Glad your transfer went well @SunshineCorazon24 - it is just a waiting game now! I think spotting the day after is normal and can either be an effect of the procedure itself or a positive sign of implantation, I definitely don't think it's anything to worry about.

Good luck @Peonies94 - hope everything goes well :)

x

Peonies94 · 16/04/2026 12:21

@AnonTTC thank you! Just about to finish work for the day now and head over to the clinic! So much more nervous!

Bubbles14 · 16/04/2026 12:23

Best of luck today @Peonies94and @SunshineCorazon24, hope all goes well!

Ah I’m NHS at Kings and they haven’t mentioned beta test so presume they don’t do them. May try and ask!

Peonies94 · 16/04/2026 13:18

Transfer completed! Been given a test date of next Saturday, which is a few days earlier than what they normally give! I mean I’m an early tester anyway and have always tested from 4/5 dpt in previous transfers!

AnonTTC · 16/04/2026 14:34

Amazing news @Peonies94 .. definitely doesn't feel too long to wait. I think 9 days feels like long enough to get a reliable result. Hope you've got lots of nice plans in between to distract yourself. Did you decide what to do about time off?

I hope I'm not too far behind you all (if mine actually goes ahead). I have a feeling when I go next week they may tell me I need a couple more days (providing it's thickened at all).. so I reckon I'll be right at the end of April all being well. Not really bothered in the grand scheme of things but keeping everything crossed we don't have to cancel, especially when my lining performed so well last time. It is quite puzzling how the body's response can be so different with identical protocols, but I guess it's a good indication of all the things that can vary month by month that without IVF we wouldn't even know about!

MarG88 · 16/04/2026 14:37

Hello!
best of luck, I am on the same boat, had my transfer last week and now on the tww.

all the best!

MarG88 · 16/04/2026 14:47

mine was a frozen embryo transfer. Progesterone was low on transfer day and I am now on lubion injections on top of cyclogest pessaries. Anyone on lubion?

Ivfchat · 16/04/2026 14:58

@Peonies94 yAay amazing … you just never know what can happen til it’s safely in there and now it is! Wishing this is a hugely successful cycle for you! And a fellow early tester too!! 👏🏼👏🏼

@MarG88 hey welcome.. how many days last transfer are you! Hope it’s successful 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I’m on cyclogest and Prontogest (the intramuscular ones 🤪)

Peonies94 · 16/04/2026 15:01

@AnonTTC yesh so I’m definitely going sick tomorrow, then unsure about next week. I think I’ll just see how I feel!

when’s your next scan? I really hope everything is catching up for you!

So my clinic forgot to do my bloods 🥴 so annoying I have to take another 2 hour round trip to go get them done now! 🤦‍♀️

Peonies94 · 16/04/2026 15:05

@Ivfchat prontogest here too! How are you finding it?

MarG88 · 16/04/2026 15:06

@Ivfchat i am 8 days post transfer of a 5day blastocyst. Sunday is the day for the urine test. My clinic doesn’t do bloods unless it’s a negative urine test
