April FET 2026

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

I also had these cramps at the same time @GreenPanda786 and still get slight ones on and off since testing positive. Fingers crossed for you.

So glad your spotting has eased @Pregnant4456 and I’m glad you are taking no notice of the clinic saying it’s the trigger, they must just be covering their backs.

@AnonTTC yes I completely agree, I’m so grateful to get the positive but following previous losses I think the positive now also comes with so much fear.

@MyLau really really hope you wake up tomorrow and it’s eased so you can start to relax a bit too.

How’s everyone doing today? I’m definitely in the “it’s not worked” phase which is driving me mad 😭 finding it impossible not to compare to how I felt last time day by day even though I know 3DPT is soooo early!

@AnonTTC You end up flip flopping daily don’t you about it it’s positive or negative news. I drove myself up the wall. I also found 5DP5DT as I was convinced it hadn’t worked but that was the same day my cramping started. So I started the day negative and then by the end of the day had hope. It’s horrible.

Have you got some nice plans to keep you occupied over the weekend?

I am ok. Still no more spotting but my cramping has calmed down so now I am taking that as a bad sign as the pregnancy hasn’t progressed. I think the next few days are going to carry on being hard!

Definitely @Pregnant4456 .. I remember doing this to myself last time and similar to you had given up hope by day 5 then started to get those specific cramps that went on into day 6. After that I think I was secretly convinced it had actually worked. Need to remind myself of that!!

We are actually moving house tomorrow!! So definitely plenty to keep me occupied 😂 I actually ended up being grateful the transfer was postponed because we got so much packing done at the weekend and now my husband is very strict he doesn’t want me lifting things or getting stressed etc so I already feel guilty that he’s basically doing everything, nevermind adding a week of me being useless on!

Glad to hear you’ve had no more spotting. I don’t think the cramping stopping is a bad sign.. it sounds like something was going on in there that caused the cramping + the spotting and it makes sense that now the spotting has stopped so has the cramping. I bet it’s just your body adjusting in waves, rather than constantly. We can’t win really can we because sometimes cramping causes us to be anxious and sometimes it’s reassuring! Have you tested again? Are they darker? Hopefully you’ll feel more reassured once you’ve had bloods and you can see the hcg rising x

@Pregnant4456 @Impatientlywaiting321 thanks I had a really good night of sleep, i was knocked out. I had spotting 2 times yesterday and once this morning but it's always brown and lighter and lighter. I had mild period like cramps all day yesterday, but today seems milder, and more of my regular streching/pulling sensation more than period.

@AnonTTC good luck with the move! I agree it’s totally normal to feel like it’s not worked. I think we are all always trying to protect our hearts.

@Pregnant4456 yay for the cramping calming down too! My back just is constantly aching. Do you have any of that? I feel like it could be because of the PIO injections though as my bum is just numb at this point.

I am counting down the hours now to book in blood for tomorrow (hopefully).

And I was able to scheduled my first scan for May 8 before my 4 days job trip. I was a little scarred to not know before taking the plane.

The PIO just seem to get worse and worse with each one - totally worth it and will never complain again about them though!

Thanks everyone.. I have definitely been getting some noticeable twinges today which then make me feel good again 😂 hilarious though because I bet on a normal day I’d not even notice them so who knows if they’re anything or nothing… keeps me sane though I guess!

@Ivfchatgood luck with your scan! And I don't know if you've convinced yourself that it's twins but just remember that even 1 baby is a wonderful outcome and what you were aiming for. We all want to know either way though 😂

It deffo wasn’t the trigger. OTD and I have just had a due stealer on a FRER. Very pleased given the brown spotting. Bloods are booked for 9am.

Congratulations @Pregnant4456 I hope you got the happy moment you deserved with this test after feeling unsure the other day. Glad to see things are progressing nicely and fingers crossed the bloods give you even more reassurance.

Scan this morning went great and we saw 2 beautiful heartbeats .. both babies measuring perfectly on track, what a miracle!

@Pregnant4456 YAY for the dye stealer!!! Have you been given a scan date from your clinic? We have just been told the 21st of May so fingers crossed we can get there this time without worry. Have you managed to get bloods today? I could only get there this afternoon so won’t have results until tomorrow now.

@Impatientlywaiting321 Scan is booked for 08/05 but that is because I have pushed to have it then to have clearance for holiday. Hoping to see gestational sac and yolk sac by then to confirm placement.

HCG blood results back. 680 this am. Could not be happier really at 11dp5dt, especially with the spotting. My HCG with my son was the equivalent of yesterday was only 320 so very pleased with the number. May not go back for more bloods until Tuesday seeing I am feeling fairly hopeful at the moment.

Sorry you have to wait until tomorrow. What time will they give you a call???

@Pregnant4456 That’s a fantastic number!!! Congrats!!! I bet that’s a huge sense of relief! Definitely reassuring given you can compare it to your son.

Im strangely relaxed about waiting for the result so don’t mind it being tomorrow - I think I’ve finally accepted that worrying isn’t going to change the outcome so there isn’t a point anymore (my brain will probably do the opposite and start worrying again in the middle of the night though!).

I have my appointment referral through with the midwife at our rainbow clinic in the main hospital in our city on Sunday so I’m hoping to get a clearer idea of when earlier scans will be then.

I’m definitely getting a lot of noticeable cramps today. Lower back ache and also just cramps lower down in my abdomen. Taking it as a good sign BUT I’ve only done this once before and it was positive so my mind is a bit like.. who knows if last time it was the pregnancy or just the progesterone anyway, as I’ve not had a negative cycle yet so I don’t know what my symptoms are in that scenario if you know what I mean?

I will say this has made me reeeeeaaaallly tempted to test earlier than planned 😂 tempted to test on weds (9DPT) but also know it would be a killer to carry the meds on for another 5 days until my OTD if it was negative so not sure x

@AnonTTC that’s exactly how I was thinking. Because both previous FETs I also got positives I convinced myself this time that the fact it’s happening for a third time means it must be the progesterone.

However I know that deep down the only reason I was telling myself that was because I was trying to protect my heart incase it wasn’t a clear positive. All I can say is tell yourself what you need to to get to your test day as it will just help you get through the days. It’s hard to always be positive but I would definitely take the fact you have had the same sensations in previous pregnancies as a good sign. I just hope that you get your BFP.

I tested for the first time on 9dp5dt because ChatGPT said it was the earliest time it would be a reliable result. It helped to know and prepare myself in my head before I’d have to call the clinic on OTD if it wasn’t good news too.
