April FET 2026

[Pregnant4456]

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

Ah thanks @Ivfchat .. going to try and not drive myself mad but easier said than done! 😂 not usually an early tester no.. I think this weekend will be too early to test, and then the next time I’ll be working from home after that will be the following Friday so reckon we will try and hold out until then.

have to say @Pregnant4456 - I’ve done many triggers and after 15 days they’d never produce a positive looking like that. It would be seen with a squint at best!!

@Pregnant4456 I totally agree with @Ivfchat it can’t still be your trigger. They always seem annoyed when you test earlier than the OTD so maybe you were getting a bit of that from them.

@Ivfchat Thank you I’ll test tomorrow but still feeling so torn as to what I think it will say. I just am living in my happy little bubble of life not falling apart just yet today. I have a dull back ache that’s been there a few days now so I’m just worried my period is going to come and ruin it all.

@AnonTTC fingers are crossed for you as you start your tww - and for everyone else currently in it.

Also more spotting - more red too despite the positive test. Not feeling hopeful 😢

@Pregnant4456 has this happened before or this the first time?

@Ivfchat I have never had a positive test like this with pregnancy like cramping with spotting. Previous chemicals have had a much fainter line and my period has just come once the test is negative. Have also not had any cramping with those - just fading pregnancy tests and then my period coming on as normal (I don’t normally get any cramping prior to my period coming on).

In my head it’s a miscarriage - but I still think that’s a fairly good line for 8dp5dt. I am all over the place to be honest. With my history of pregnancy loss my head goes straight to miscarriage.

It was so hard getting through the TWW anyway. Today has made it 10x harder - especially as this is with a PGT-A tested 4AA embryo

Oh I’m sorry @Pregnant4456 - in the absence of the spotting this would be a fantastic day for you and with your history the heightened anxiety is so understandable.

I think given what you’ve said where with previous losses everything felt quite different, fingers crossed this is just due to the pessaries or early pregnancy. It is a shame that your clinic were so dismissive because pregnancy test aside, you are still spotting. Did they say anything about that? Or just to wait and see?

Sorry everyone for my wild panic today. I have calmed down a bit. The spotting hasn’t increased as I had feared - still largely looks like old blood.

I am going to stop jumping to conclusions from my past history and just will have to wait and see.

Need to think that if the spotting was alongside a much fainter line then I could be facing a miscarriage. I need to just wait and see.

Have got bloods now booked for 9am Friday morning and will now hold off testing until Friday to see if the same test is darker.

@Pregnant4456 genuinely think you’re going to be ok, could be a SCH which is common or just some spotting… doesn’t make it any less traumatic I know but hopefully you can find some comfort in that great strong line you got this morning and that bleeding can be very common while also being completely fine… not long til Friday then hopefully you’ll get some reassurance. ❤️❤️❤️

I did bloods yesterday just to make sure everything was still on track .. hcg came in at 51,839 (20dpt) .. now to wait till Friday to see if there’s one or two in there 🤪
My hcg at 21dpt with my son was 19,079 so yesterdays result is making me wonder!

Don’t apologise @Pregnant4456 - you’re allowed to come on here to worry/vent! That’s what it’s for. Worrying is only natural throughout this process so don’t be too hard on yourself. But definitely don’t assume the worst just yet 💕

Great numbers @Ivfchat - I feel like you can be fairly confident it’s 2 with numbers that high! When will your first scan be?

@AnonTTC scan on Friday morning! I’d absolutely love if there were 2 in there but part of me still thinks how can it be 2! I did do a fertility psychic reading (I’m not even into this kind of thing but it just popped up on my TikTok one night as I was starting this cycle 🤪) and he told me I’d be pregnant in April with twins 🤭 - we’ll see if he’s right!
Only a few days left until we’ll see!

My OTD is Sunday 10th May. I doubt I’ll wait until then though.. currently I reckon I’ll test on Friday 8th, but I think it depends how the next week or so goes and whether I feel pregnant or not. I could definitely tell last time

Yeah it is mad, he also said ‘I see A LOT of tests.. and I was sitting there with 35 tests ready to go 😂

Is 10th 13dpt? Friday 8th sounds good.. hopefully you’ll get some signs that it worked before then 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 it does feel like the longest wait everrrr. I’d never last that long as I have zero will power but I absolutely tortured myself on day 3 this time with a test that was obviously negative! .. so testing too early doesn’t help either..

Yep - 10th would be 13DPT so by Friday I will be 11DPT. That’s the same day I tested on last time, and if I’m being honest I said I’d not wait that long this time around, but I don’t want to test then have to rush off to work. If I had the choice I’d probably test at like 9DPT because I think that’s more manageable and the result at that stage is likely pretty accurate (especially since I transferred a hatching blast). I have had some cramps and twinges today, which I also had last time but given it’s only 1DPT I’m not sure it means anything. Last time I got very distinct cramps around 5DPT and that’s what gave me an inkling.

I don’t think you can win with the testing can you? I just know what I’m like and if I test early I’ll either obsess over lines or have false hope if it’s negative. I remember using one of those clearblue weeks tests last time and I really regretted it because I got hyperfixated with it progressing and whether it was as far along as it should be etc

I do a lot of chatting with chat gpt too 😅 today i felt the little cramps where a bit different, and tonight i have light brown spotting.. i dont know what to think about it 😔 im 20dpt. We'll see tomorrow.

Sorry you’re had some spotting, but like we said yesterday it is super common, especially with the pessaries. How are you feeling this morning?

I thought I was super chilled for this cycle but I’ve definitely fallen victim to the “I don’t feel anything different so clearly it’s not worked” thoughts already this morning, and it’s only 2DPT 🫠 so silly but last time I had quite a noticeable stitch type pain I my left side on 1/2DPT and this time I haven’t. Could have been unrelated though I guess!!
