April FET 2026

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

Yes this is actually such good advice, thank you @Impatientlywaiting321 .. whatever it takes to get to test day is wise. I was a bit afraid earlier because I think I’m convinced it has worked (was last time too) so I was thinking I should to try and prepare myself in case it’s not. But realistically, I’ll be disappointed whether I’m prepared or not so I guess there’s no harm having some hope to get through the wait and why not live in the bubble of being positive!?

9DPT was when I was thinking is the earliest I’d test (that would be Wednesday), so I think I’ll see nearer the time how I’m feeling and make a call! Sometimes I like to put it off to avoid the disappointment but last time I ended up driving myself mad waiting and wished I’d put myself out of the misery sooner 😂

@Impatientlywaiting321 how did you get on with your blood draw?

@Pregnant4456 it came back at 770, just eager to get to tomorrows bloods/results now.

Oh fab. You must be chuffed! I had decided to wait until Tuesday to do another blood draw but now I am worried that I should have opted for tomorrow!

hey @Ivfchat I am doing ok. Spotting completely stopped, cramping on and off but a lot lower scale. Just waiting for next blood draw on Tuesday and then for my scan on Friday. More waiting.

Felt knackered the last couple of days and have started burping which I have with previous pregnancies.

Had a bit of push back from the clinic at not wanting to do a scan at 5+2 but they eventually agreed (they were concerned about not being able to see anything).

How are you doing now you have the news that it is indeed two nice and cosy in there?

@Pregnant4456 @Ivfchat thank you both, yes it was 770 on 11dp5dt and today’s has come back at 2431 at 13dp5dt. I’m so grateful that it’s another hurdle we have managed to get over for now but I think in reality I won’t stop holding my breath until we have a scan.

Glad your spotting has stopped @Pregnant4456 and to be totally honest I think even if you had a HCG today you will just wonder what Tuesdays one would be because that’s straight to where my brain has gone. I’m going to try and not have any more hcgs for now (but I won’t speak too soon).

Hey @Ivfchat .. I think there was @GreenPanda786 to test before me, and then @taytay2020 after me!

I’ve decided I’m going to test next Friday. It will be 11dpt but for a variety of reasons there isn’t a day before that where I’d feel in the right headspace if it was a negative result so going to wait! Have had lots of niggles/pinches, lower back cramps and very sore boobs but that could be the meds so who knows!

Looks like I am having a miscarriage. Now bleeding and in quite a lot of pain.

Not sure whether that leaves us as it was a 4AA and PGT tested!

I feel lost for words 😢

@Pregnant4456 I really hope it’s not that - have you got an emergency out of hours number for your clinic? They always tell me bleeding can also be normal?

Ive just had some brown spotting and completely spiralling as that’s exactly what happened to me with my previous MMCs

@Pregnant4456 oh nooo, can you call your local maternity unit to see if they can do anything? I really don’t know what to do in situations like this. Does your clinic have an emergency number?

They have an emergency number but it’s so bad I don’t see the point in ringing them. May do so tomorrow.

Oh @Pregnant4456 i am so sorry you’re going through this. For what it’s worth, I still think it’s worth you ringing the emergency number as they might be able to check you over?

@Pregnant4456 I think if you can mentally do it I would ring them too just to be on the safe side.

I tested today on a clear blue digital at 11 days post 5 day blast transfer and it shows 2 to 3 weeks pregnant. Over the moon, been waiting for this day for almost ten years (secondary Infertility). Wishing everyone else the best of luck x

So the bleeding and cramping has eased off - barely any blood. I am on my way to the clinic to demand a blood test.

I also took another frer this AM on a third wee in 30 minutes and it was darker than Fridays test - not loads but clearly still darker.

It just doesn’t add up - I have lost so many pregnancies before but I have never had a miscarriage so soon after a good blood draw. Normally my blood draws don’t look good and then I start spotting. Plus this time the cramping and bleeding has stopped.

i don’t know what to think. Will keep you posted.

Me and my husband then also had an argument. He deals with things so differently to me, shuts down. All I needed was a cuddle last night 😢

Glad to hear the bleeding has eased off @Pregnant4456 , that’s a really positive sign! Definitely think you’re doing the right thing going to the hospital as they can hopefully put your mind at ease.

I know you’ll already know this and it probably won’t help until you have some tests done, but I have spoken to so many people who have had an early bleed and all has been fine so keeping everything crossed it is something else and not a pregnancy loss. Like you say, you know your body and if it’s usually quite different then hopefully that is the case 🤞🏼

Keep us updated! Fingers crossed for some good news. Sorry to hear your husband was a little cold.. like you say these stressful times can bring out all sorts of emotions but hopefully once you’ve been seen and things have calmed down a little he will open back up a bit x

@Pregnant4456 really hope everything is ok, it could be a SCH and I would also be really surprised it’s a MC after such a strong hcg on Friday, it doesn add up.

Men can be so disappointing in these situations, you are not alone. Sometimes I think they are not emotionally equipped to deal with these things and as a result are completely useless.. you definitely just needed a hug not a fight 🤦🏼‍♀️

Good sign on the FRER too .. everything crossed for you today that you’ll get your bloods done and get a nice strong hcg back and this is all just a terrible scare ..

Thanks :) my official test day is Wednesday/ Thursday. Going to let the clinic know then and request some more progesterone and estradiol as I'm running low. Planning to take thag for 12 weeks. Then in 2 weeks time I think I'll have a scan.

Honestly man can be cold. The thing I did different this cycle was I did everything by myself. All the appointments, transfer, blood tests etc. I couldn't afford being stressed out by my husband.
