April FET 2026

Pregnant4456 · 01/04/2026 21:24

I have just started spotting so expecting tomorrow to be CD1 of our FET round.

Doing a modified natural cycle with Letrozole and a trigger.

We will be transferring a PGT tested 4AA embryo so I am hopeful it works after our fresh transfer failed in Feb. Doing IVF due to tubal factor as both tubes removed from previous ectopic pregnancies.

Just to make the whole process more stressful we are going on holiday to Greece 6 weeks today - a bit too close for comfort to check pregnancy placement before we go away - but for the moment, we are planning to continue with our FET.

Anyone doing a FET in April too that wants to join and chat?

x

Awesome news, congratulations. What did you use to downregulate?

Hi @GreenPanda786 i did two prostap injections back to back this time, so nearly two months of menopause symptoms but hopefully all worth it!

Oo, I've previously in 2021 had a failed fresh with a top day 5 blastocyst. This time I asked for prostrap aswell but just a 1 month depot. I hope it works. I'm currently 2 days post double frozen embryo transfer with lower graded blastocysts.

So I did my last HPT before OTD, and this is what I got. Not sure what to make of it - I got a blue line within 3 minutes, but it's horizontal instead of vertical! 🤣

That was the last HPT I had on stock so I wasn't able to do a retest. My beta was scheduled on the same day. Result is negative.

Good luck today @AnonTTC I hope it goes well.

I am now 7dp5dt and I am going CRAZY. This TWW is 10x tougher than my fresh transfer in Feb as we know the embryo has been tested. I feel so up and down it’s unreal.

How are those who are also in the TWW? When is everyone planning on testing?

I was sorely tempted to test today but have resisted. Still planning on waiting until Thursday

I’m so sorry @SunshineCorazon24 sending lots of love ❤️

@Pregnant4456 I am also 7dp5dt and officially feel like I’m going crazy. I am still planning on testing on Wednesday morning but just feel so sick at the thought.

Have you had any symptoms yet?

Pregnant4456 · 27/04/2026 14:18

@Impatientlywaiting321 I am pleased it’s not just me going crazy. One minute I think it’s worked, the next minute I don’t think it has. It’s meaning I can’t concrete on work (I have a new job too so can’t really just sit back) and everything else is falling apart (like comfort eating etc).

I have had a fair bit of, maybe not quite cramping, but a sensation that I think I have had before with similar pregnancies around similar time since Saturday. They come and go on and off during the day. Other than that nothing, but I don’t normally have any other symptoms at this stage other than that.

How about you? What are you doing to keep yourself sane? It’s so hard!

OP posts:
Pregnant4456 · 27/04/2026 14:25

I should add the “sensations” I am having are different to my failed transfer I had back in February currently.

I can completely relate to what you mean about the sensation. Not quite cramping but definitely something I don’t normally feel. But for me my progesterone level measured at 103 the day before transfer so it could just be due to that?!

Both my previous transfers I did also get feeling and they were both positive (missed miscarriages) however I don’t know if that was because of the progesterone again?!

That sums up how I feel - I’m a pendulum swing from it hasn’t worked to maybe it could have - CONSTANTLY.

I am really really emotionally all over the place too but I think it’s because the whole process is triggering all the feels of loss again and fear.

The only thing I am doing to pass the time is harassing ChatGPT about how I feel every hour of the day!

taytay2020 · 27/04/2026 14:46

Good luck today @AnonTTC! I hope it goes well.

I had my pre-ovulation scan booked for this morning and my opk showed my peak literally 25mins beforehand - couldn't have been more perfect timing. Lining and follicle looking good so my transfer is on Saturday!

Pregnant4456 · 27/04/2026 15:05

Oh I am so pleased - we are clearly in similar boat. I spend my time at 3am lying in bed awake messaging ChatCPT. It is like my new agony aunt trying to reassure me in the middle of the night. I have spoken to an AI bot about this more than my own husband lol.

On any normal natural cycle when not progesterone I don’t have any pre period cramps at all nor any other standard progesterone. I didn’t have my progesterone checked before transfer.

With previous pregnancies I always have a similar cramps. With my failed cycle in Feb I had a couple of cramps on one day but felt very different to this. It’s hard to describe really - but sensation is different.

I recon if you had a similar sensation when pregnant before it is a good sign (this is how my irrational brain is working in any case).

I keep wondering whether testing will help - ultimately it will either just make me really down (if BFN) or will send me into line progression anxiety which from previous experience is even more stressful).

What is your plan if it is positive? Are you having bloods done?

OP posts:
Impatientlywaiting321 · 27/04/2026 15:43

@Pregnant4456 haha same! My husband pointed out I’d been much calmer this time - until I pointed out I just ask ChatGPT instead.

Same I don’t usually get cramps either but I’m on a “kitchen sink” protocol this time so have got to consider than could be why too.

If I am fortunate enough to get a positive on Wednesday I’ll book in betas for Friday, Sunday and Tuesday. Are you planning to have them?

AnonTTC · 27/04/2026 16:31

Thanks @Pregnant4456 & @taytay2020 . All done! Nice to know it’s finally in there & just a waiting game now. Everything went really smoothly which is always a bonus.

I can imagine you’re definitely in the “tempting to test” phase because you’d like get a positive by now so it’s hard to resist! I’m with you though that I’d probably find the analysing of the lines more stressful than waiting.

I also had those funny cramps on my positive cycle and I just “knew”. I am a bit nervous about that this time around because I know what to look out for now so the next few days will definitely be telling in terms of whether I feel the same or not. I have no idea when we will text but I don’t think I’d want it to be a day I’m in the office so will potentially be next Friday, which would be 11DPT!

Pregnant4456 · Yesterday 05:38

@Impatientlywaiting321 I have just had the tiniest amount of brown spotting! Fearing the worse now and that sensations that have been ongoing since 5dp5dt was just my period starting.

It still doesn’t add up though - I don’t typically have any cramping before my period, I didn’t have any cramping before I started spotting on OTD during my fresh cycle. I just don’t know. I still stand by the sensations I have felt have been similar to pregnancy cramps rather than cramps that I get once I have come on with my period. But maybe it was also the dreaded symptom spotting that was pushing me the other way.

Now I don’t know whether I wait it out till Thursday as planned or go get a test. Have literally not slept.

If I am lucky enough to get a BFP (although looking unlikely) I would get bloods done Friday and the following Tuesday with a scan the end of that week to hopefully clear us to go on holiday. But I have a feeling that won’t be needed now!

@AnonTTC Congrats for moving onto the other side of the TWW. I agree with not testing on a day you are going into the office - you want to give yourself a bit of time to process it all!

Hi everyone, thinking of you all. The TTW is really so horrendous.

I was lucky enough to get a bHCG of 167 at 15 days post 5dt however we tested again today (23 days post) and it’s only up to 1887, which the clinic have said is much lower than they were expecting. Feeling a bit stupid for letting my brain get excited and very much back in limbo. They plan to test again next week so will hopefully have more of an idea then.

Pregnant4456 · Yesterday 08:06

So after my meltdown at 5am this morning I decided that after the spotting I had to take a test to know at least if it had worked or not.

It is a clear positive on a 25hcg test. I am 8dp5dt today. Not sure where that leaves me in terms of what I do next. What would people do given the spotting?

I have spotted before in successful and unsuccessful pregnancies but I have never spotted this early. However, I have never been on this much additional progesterone now.

Any advice on what to do next would be massively appreciated! X

Hey @Pregnant4456 .. firstly, congratulations! :) I actually came on here to say I think your cramping was a great sign, even with the presence of spotting etc. I’d say that test is super clear for 8DPT so things are looking positive for you 🤞🏼

In terms of the spotting.. one thing my clinic do stress to me is that spotting is really normal in the TWW, but they do say to reach out to them if you’re particularly anxious about it. Could you do that? Another thing is that the pessaries are known to irritate the vaginal walls the longer we use them. I got a cervical ectropion last time which caused some spotting and apparently this is really common. They advised me to alternate between front way and back way to help with this. Could you maybe try this too?

I definitely don’t think it’s anything to worry about but I understand why it’s playing on your mind a bit 🩷 xx

Ivfchat · Yesterday 09:38

@Pregnant4456 lovely strong BFP but I get why you’re worried.. call your clinic, maybe get a progesterone check and take it from there, I don’t think they do a lot for early spotting but given your history I’d definitely get your progesterone checked.
what progesterone are you on? Early spotting I think is super common and usually ok I think.

@Impatientlywaiting321 hopefully you’re next with a BFP!

@AnonTTC welcome to the 2ww, are you ready to drive yourself mad? Are you an early tester?

@SpicySus it does sound low, when will they check it again? Hopefully things will be ok 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Ivfchat · Yesterday 09:42

Also glad to hear I am not the only one harassing chat GPT 🤭🤭

Pregnant4456 · Yesterday 09:52

Another update from me - I rung my clinic. They have made me feel less excited. So they have said it could still just be my trigger and to just wait until test day and then come in for a beta.

I don’t know what to think. I am sure I am pregnant.

I took ovotrelle 15 days ago now (13/04/26). Surely it’s out of my system by now. The positive alongside the pregnancy cramps which are comparable to before - surely it can’t still be my trigger shot.

Ahhhhhhhhh. The stress just continues

OP posts:
Ivfchat · Yesterday 09:54

@Pregnant4456 that is 100% NOT your trigger!!!
