I thought I would start a thread for those scheduled for a FET in May.

Had egg collection in Feb, feels like forever ago now.

I have just started a medicated FET cycle. Started taking norethisterone today. Provisional transfer scheduled for May 27th.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

@OneQuirkyPandasorry to hear of the negative never nice to see BUT it is so so early so doesn’t mean anything at this point. Would have been rare for any HCG to show up at this point so try to not let it get to you too much

how is everyone feeling this morning. Woken up feeling really despondent again and just so sad that it’s not worked. Still no symptoms apart from tiredness which evey Google is telling me is progesterone anyway. So annoying we have to feel like shit and it’s not even for something lovely like a pregnancy. Going to be so annoying to feel like crap for another week only to get a negative

@Anniekent1 that’s exactly how I feel this morning. Just trying my best to stay upbeat and positive. I just try to keep reminding myself that nothing has happened so it doesn’t mean it’s a sign of anything good or bad.

@Impatientlywaiting321i just think it it was to have implanted by now I would have felt the twinges or cramps already so feel like it just hasn’t done anything. Just tiredness hate progesterone.

going to the beach today to try and take my mind off things and get some vitamin D!

@Anniekent1 I wouldn’t worry too much about it as not everyone feels implantation or gets implantation spotting. I never did and wouldn’t have known any different had I not been going through IVF and testing early 😅

3dpt - not feeling ANYTHING

husband has been drinking in the sun all day and I’d LOVE a lovely glass of white wine and feel like I’m not even not drinking for a good reason

hows everyone feeling?

I’m spiralling today, been having a lot of cramps and stabbing feelings all day, really ramping up the past few hours. I’ve done a few tests which were all negative except for one in the last hour which showed what is either a very faint positive or an evap line (it’s pink, but showed up after 5/10 mins), I only have one of that test left and am saving it for tomorrow morning as if it is a very faint positive it should be a lot more visible tomorrow. The easy @ home I did was stark white.

So I’m not getting my hopes up. I kind of regret testing early now, I can see why people advise you not to do it!

It really is, I don’t want to get my hopes up in case it is just an evap as the easy @ home was definitely negative. I’m sorry you’re finding it hard too. Ive been trying to do some DIY today to take my mind off it, but not getting very far. Hopefully it will all be worth it x

@OneQuirkyPandathose symptoms and the test all sound promising though so will be thinking of you and having my fingers crossed in the morning

my day hasn’t been great. Went for a lovely long walk and then ended up with really bad groin pain and could barely walk home. Had to keep stopping and now worried the pain and inflammation will have affected implantation. I think I pulled something the other night when I stood up too quick and now if I walk to far or irritate it then I start to get pain. Stops as soon as I sit down so movement related.

@spamOFtheDAYso sorry you also had a hard day. I am soo sad we can’t enjoy a glass of wine in this nice weather. So frustrating when as you said it’s not even for a good reason at this point. We can’t do anything fun!

@Anniekent1 thank you, I have convinced myself it’s an evap tbh, but we will see.

Oh no, sorry to hear you’ve not had a good day, I’m sure it won’t have affected implantation though! Maybe just take it easy tomorrow and see if that helps :)

@OneQuirkyPanda well even if it’s an Evap line it is still very early. Would it help leaving it a few days before another test or does that make it worse for you with worrying about it

yeah tomorrow is take it easier I think. Stupid body can’t trust it to do anything anymore

I have no self control, I decide every day I’m not going to test again and I always end up testing 🙈 I know logically I should step away from the tests for a few days, but I go on TikTok and see so many people getting positives 4-5dpt and it makes me feel like I could be one of them so I test. I wish I never started though, would 100% not recommend!

Oh @OneQuirkyPandabloody social media makes this journey so much harder. As then it’s a constant comparison so please don’t beat yourself up. For the 1 or 2 you see get a positive at 4DPT there are hundreds who don’t (and just don’t film it and post it!)
but I know rational brains for ourselves doesn’t allow us to think like this. I really hope you get your positive early but please don’t count yourself out just yet could still be a few days for HCG to be detectable

So I took another few tests, got a darker line on the one I had the potential evap on and this line came up in under 5 mins. It’s hard to see on pics, but I’ve upped the contrast and lowered the brightness and it is pink. We thought we saw something on the clear blue, but it was so faint could have been an indent. Nothing much on the easy @ home.

What do you guys think? Either I’m the unluckiest person in the world and got two evaps or it’s a very faint positive. I’ve ordered some FRERs to be delivered this afternoon as they are more sensitive I think.

I took a FRER and it’s stark white this morning 😅 and I thought I had seen the faintest line last night too but probably an evap.

still no symptoms my end. Havnt tested but prob won’t until next week as don’t want to face the endless negative testing. How are you feeling ?

@FrostedFlake Thank you, I got them from Superdrug yesterday it’s a brand called 2SAN. I think I won’t believe it until I get a positive on another brand, really hoping that the FRERs come up positive this afternoon then I think I will believe it.

@Anniekent1 I think I am a day behind you both as my transfer was Wednesday and at almost 5pm so quite late in the day. I had tested on day 4 with our only successful pregnancy and I had gotten a very light but visible line however with all the others it was extremely light and led to miscarriages so I’m trying to protect my heart by testing early and not getting my hopes up.

@FrostedFlake thank you, I’m so scared that it’s not real 🙈 I think I will accept it when it shows up on another brand of test.

I feel fine today, yesterday I felt awful with all the cramps and things, but nothing at all today. Really hoping that was the embryo implanting! How are you feeling?

@FrostedFlakeexactly as you had an afternoon one it’s also not even really 4 days yet so very early to detect anything. I’m sorry to hear of your previous miscarriages it must make this so much more challenging as well so I understand you wanting to guard your heart

@OneQuirkyPanda ahh that’s a great line - definitely can see it! Was it a 2san early test or a regular one as the sensitivity can be quite different so might explain if it’s faint! definitely worth seeing what the FRER looks like - it may well be super reassuring! Oh I’m so excited for you ❤️

I’m still holding out, but have a stash of tests in preparation. I may start testing tomorrow (11dp5dt). I just don’t want to see a positive test that’s gone lighter by OTD…

It was an early response one, I’m 5dpt today so hoping it’s just because it’s so early, I felt like maybe it was implanting yesterday afternoon, so not sure how long after that you start to get strong positives? My FRERs just turned up, but I’m too scared to take them 🙈
