Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

Just a little update from me. I had my nurses appointment today. With all being well I am now just waiting for my period to come in two weeks so I can start short protocol ivf. I am nervous but excited for it to start. How are you all doing?

I took my trigger last night and I’m in tomorrow morning for my EC

I had my consultant appointment this morning and can't help feeling about deflated. She said because my AMH is at the lower end I will likely only get 7-9 eggs maximum. And hopefully a couple of embryos. Doesn't sound that encouraging, I just can't help worrying I suppose. Anyway fingers crossed. She said I won't need a baseline scan so that's something one less appointment to arrange off work.
Got my nurse appointment tomorrow to go through timings jn more detail.

Sorry for the lack of response I've been unwell but thankfully a lot better now!! I had my meds delivered this morning and have actually come on my period this afternoon a day early so due to now start my injections Thursday evening and have my first scan booked in for Tuesday 11th. X

Sorry to hear that @Twofromanotherkind I know the feeling and I completely understand. I used to be really worried about my low amh but now I’m thinking that if we manage to get between 7-10 eggs and then 2 embryos, that’ll be the closest I’ve ever been to potentially achieving a pregnancy! It might be naive to think like that though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also nervous here @lovelivelaugh63. I can’t wait for the treatment to start and end! I’ll be right behind you, please post updates when you start treatment!

Hey everyone! Good luck those waiting for periods to come to start treatment and those about to start stims- this was me last week! I know it’s difficult but try not to be nervous, I’ve done 5 injections now so far and it’s so much easier than I expected!
Also since I had such a bad time with the priming/down reg, I worried about the hormones during stims but I actually feel pretty good tbh! 😊 definitely way better than progesterone lol.
So far my side effects have been little twinge type cramps, a bit like mild AF cramps, some bloating/heavy feeling, and my new one today just TONS of ewcm. Like, ten times what I normally get during ovulation lol… that was a shock!

My first monitoring scan is next Monday on day 11 of my stims. I might be triggering that evening if they’re big enough 🤞🏻

sorry been quiet. Life is manic.

Currently on day 19(!) busrelin injections for down regulation. Stomach is so sore and bruised beyond anything I experienced last time. Have a scan tomorrow to see if down regulation has occurred and hopefully start Stims!

@ivfjourneyandme ooh that looks sore bless you! Hopefully it’s all good news tomorrow and then you can start stims. I haven’t had any bruising yet on the stims which surprised me because I bruise so easily 😬

Ouch @ivfjourneyandme no wonder you’re so bruised though, 19days is a long time!! And now (hopefully) the stims on top of that! Good luck for tomorrow 🤞🏻

We had a call from the clinic today to say one of our embryos managed to catch up to blastocyst stage today (day 6) so it has been frozen and a sample sent for PGT-A testing. We have about 2 weeks to wait for results.

Hello everyone, we (hopefully just waiting on last bits of paperwork!) Will be starting stims when i get my period in 2 weeks.

Its been helpful reading how its going for some of you so far!

I am excited tbh and a little nervous. I am just so bored with all the pre meetings/ chasing/ paperwork that it will be good to actually get going haha. Had our baseline scan last week and then final bloods this week too. How about you?

Yes it's my first cycle of ivf. We are blessed with one child who took a few years to conceive and we were ready to start ivf but naturally conceived but its ivf needed for a hopeful 2nd child.
What about you - is this your first cycle?

@Timetotryagain yes it's my first cycle so trying to stay hopeful along side not expecting too much. Didn't realise how much I really wanted it before now I'm just worried won't work etc. think I'm just overthinking everything!

@Twofromanotherkind yeah i feel the same, i was watching an ivf vlog earlier of a couple waiting ro hear back from clinic about how many of the fertilised eggs were embryos on day 3 and even hearing their phone conversation with the clinic made me panic about our potential phone calls!!! But i think its good to be hopeful because if we arent hopeful then whats the point of all the needles haha
