Hello, I'm 3dp5dt today and thought it would be nice to chat to anyone going through the same. This is my third FET after two failed medicated cycles, doing a modified natural this time. I'm definitely an early tester and have tested out my trigger as I didnt want to have doubt in my mind as to whether I was seeing a bfp or trigger. I got my first negative since the trigger this morning. Fingers crossed!

I'd love to hear how others are going x

My test day is next friday. Aim for me is to resist testing before.

Im a few days behind you and just had a transfer this morning! Was planning on testing at 9dp5dt!! It’s so hard to hold off though isn’t it 🤣

Yes, it's so hard to not test! I also just find testing really helpful - if I get a negative at 4dp5dt I might think 'too early' and then as the days go on its more of a gradual let down rather than one big moment. For me, that's heaps easier. But I know it could be torturous for another!

@River30 im just trying to enjoy being PUPO now since still so early and nothing can do! Know what you mean by early testing o did that on my first transfer which ended a chemical. It just made me super stressful and a compulsive pee on a sticker 🤣🤣🤣 will see if I can hold out till 9dp5dt im glad it will be a weekend so at least it isn’t a day I have to work whatever we find out!

any symptoms yet? It’s so hard not to analyse every single thing isn’t it 😳

Hey! I am 3dp5dt today! Booked in with the hospital for a blood test on the 5th to confirm pregnancy or not....i dont think i will test before then!

This is my fiest cycle and had 2 embryos transferred due to then being low grade and didnt get any suitable to freezing.

How are you feeling? I am a bit crampy today. Not sure whether to take this as good or bad :(

@2022TTCBaby1 thats great your clinics do bloods! I wish mine did, going to try and use a medichecks test instead if I get a positive result. We had a double too, think I recognise your name from another thread 😀 not had anything so far from me no cramps or anything 🤷‍♀️ how are you feeling about it all?

Hey @Ellenn, yeah it is pretty good! I think it may be because we have gone with a hospital...not sure though! Could you use the first response early response? Are they any good? Haha yes i am from the other thread! I will respond on this so we arent back and forth haha if i am honest i am so nervous, im trying to be positive and hopeful but i have this dull feeling like just before your period comes so finding it so stay positive!! AF usual comes 13dpo so if i go by ER as O day im 9dpo...guess we will have to see. They said i may still bleed...dont always mean ill get a BFN. How are you feeling??

@2022TTCBaby1 yeh not sure seems different clinics do different things! I wish I could just find out via bloods I hate the anxiety that you need to do it yourself! End up being awake all night before 🙈

symptom wise nothing for me yet but I’m only 2dp5dt so a wee bit behind you! I will just use a normal test on the 4th which will be 9 days after transfer. I’ve always had a reliable result then so i imagine will be fairly obvious either way!! I’m trying to find a new tv series to keep myself distracted to pass the time and not let me start overthinking 🙄

for me the hardest part of the journey is not actually this wait but is between positive test and viablity scan 😢 it’s got to be the worst as you have this bit of hope it might work since you have a positive test.

Havent had much in terms of cramping or anything today but if im honest I think its the clycogest giving me a load of pms symptoms 😂

I have just started supernatural again! Hopefully binge it this week! Working mon-fri too so hopefully its a busy work week lol

It is all scary really! I havent ever had a sniff of preganancy and been ttc for 2.5years. Friends have started trying after me and fallen before me...but if its meant to happen it will!

Youll be testing the day before me so we will find out aroublnd the same time!

@2022TTCBaby1 definitlet think the hormones with the medicated FET do not help I find the progesterone makes me so tired!

ooh might have a wee look in the worst at just watching the first episode and if it doesn’t keep me hooked move onto the next. Drives my partner crazy 🤪

I feel your pain, the only positives I’ve had is after transfers. I’ve never had a natural pregnancy unfortunately. In this time know a few people who are now onto their third pregnancy 😢

Yeah try it! Has 15 series so will keep you busy 😂 Or there fool me once on netflix is pretty good too but only 1 series.

Its not easy! Especially when everyone else around seems to find it so easy.

Yeah hes ok, he is excited and hopeful but understanding so i dont feel pressured. He had low sperm count within this cycle too unfortunately so went with icsi! How is partner feeling?

Yeh probably the same! Think he is even more positive than I am. I do feel pretty positive but every so often have a wobble about something. It’s hard not to spiral downwards sometimes, then you are googling something random at 3am.

we had ICSI as well although my partner only has slightly reduced motility. How did you find doing the full cycle? It’s pretty full on isn’t it but mine always seem to go so quickly!

Yeah I totally get that! With this being my first cycle I dont really know what to expect. If it doesnt work does AF come usual time...no idea haha

Yeah I didnt find it too bad! Didnt have much side effects from meds...more so with the progesterone now! And it flew by!

@2022TTCBaby1 for most people taking the progesterone can delay your period (although some people can still bleed) so you wouldn’t necessarily see this while still on medication. Although I hope you don’t see it for 9 mths obvs🤪

Found out a work colleague is having a baby today and I know I should be excited as we might be having one but it just made me super jealous and sad cause we are still quite far from knowing if this is actually going to work out or not 😳 also woke up this morning with a cold so not feeling my best I’m really hoping it doesn’t last too long. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better.

that’s great you managed with the meds I really struggled but I seem to always overstimulate which isn’t great. Progesterone for sure makes me so tired! Are you on the dreaded pessaries??

@Ellenn oh fantastic so the saying not out til out til AF shows isnt the case for us then! Will have bloods and then stop the meds if BFN and then she will come I guess. Oh me too! I am keeping fingers crossed for the both of us!

Oh bless you! I totally get it...its so hard because you want to be happy for them but deep down youre struggling to be! I really hope this round works for you! Oh no! Hope the cold disappears soon...could be a good sign or could be the weather 🤦🏽‍♀️

Sorry to hear you overstimulate on it! I didnt too much. Yes me too! Extremely tired! And a bit crampy....bit like dull period ache! The dreaded pessaries....yes i am! Theyre horrid! Are you?

@2022TTCBaby1 yes on the pessaries and injectable progesterone as well which is quite sore actually! Overall not enjoying the progesterone 🤣

Still no symptoms from me but I feel absolutely rubbish so sore all over I’m hoping it’s not going to last long. Que me googling if colds/flu affect implantation 😳 I really hope it will be ok.

No more symptoms for me, still the dull ache that i get period so just bracing myself for some bad news 😒 tmi but...doing the cyxlogest this morning and noticed cervix has gone higher...not sure what that means though. Trying not to over analyse everything lol

@2022TTCBaby1 yeh I do although just taken some more paracetqmol and codeine it seems to have hit the spot 🤣 I really hope it’s short lived and I get over it quickly!

for all my other transfers I had quite a lot of cramping like you get before your period arrives and they all resulted in implantation so not always a bad sign! It’s just downright impossible to know if it’s a good thing or not. I suppose only bonus I have is feeling rubbish from the cold/flu made me not able to spot any other symptoms ha!

No idea about a high cervix not going to lie don’t think I would notice 🤣

Yeah i guess no one ever really know until they test! The symptoms for AF and early pregnancy are basically exactly the same!

My partner asked today if we should test early 😂 I was almost tempted said no because... it could come back negative we will be down in the dumps and still have to go for the bloods and maybe thatll be positive but tested too early etc...or could come back positive but bloods come back negative.

How about you? Will you test early or wait?

I’m going to wait till Sunday when I’m 9dp5dt as if it worked should get a pretty good line. It’s always that thought in your head as you get nearer ohh maybe I might get a result now if I test then will put me out of waiting hell. but Even if you get a positive then you get obsessed is the line dark enough, what if it’s a chemical
pregnancy blah blah it’s never ending!!

Yeh I’m only 5dp5dt and feel really crappy today although my nose is no longer blocked so at least I managed to sleep!

I would actually be so excited if two stick but honestly would be happy with one! The doctors weren’t too keen on me doing a double but I’ve already tried singles and they weren’t having good outcomes! Would you be happy with two? x

At first my doctors werent either but because i didnt get anu embryos that were suitable for freezing they suggested 2 to maximise my chances! I also would love if 2 stuck! But obviously just as happy if 1 didnt.

Ahhh don’t test yet it’s horrible getting faint lines and you wonder does it mean something or not. I would like to either get a really nice line on Sunday or nothing so it’s clear! I’m getting a bit impatient now too 🙄

that’s good they let you do that! Suppose why not if they couldn’t freeze them at least give them both a chance. You do hear of embryos that weren’t suitable for freezing make babies still so got a chance there!

and my transfers so far we used really good quality embryos and they all ended in miscarriages so we ended up requesting to use poorer quality embryos this time (although they are still deemed good just not the highest grade! We are leaving the 5AAs for now since I’ve lost faith in them 🤣)

if this doesn’t work can you get another cycle (obviously hoping you don’t need this though!!)?
