It’s the dreaded 2ww after my FET on Tues. checking for bleeding all the time, symptom spotting etc. How is everyone else doing?

Last night I had cramping and this morn had the tiniest amount of pinkish discharge. Could be combo of constipation causing cramps and pessaries irritating cervix rather than implantation. Don’t want to get hopes up as probs a bit early for implantation?!!

This is my 5th transfer and if successful will be our 3rd IVF baby. We’ve been incredibly lucky.

@Chocoholic85 welcome to the chat, it’s a really difficult place to be, but it helps having people in the same boat to share with. ❤️

So I took the test with afternoon wee after not drinking for about 3.5 hours and not peeing for 1.5, it wasn’t the most concentrated for sure but looked dark enough and I have got a positive, but way fainter than I expected to see on a CB early 11dpt so now I’m worried it may be a chemical and not feeling any more relaxed about things. Of course it could be I didn’t use FMU or that it’s still 5 days earlier than my OTD, but cannot stop myself from assuming the worst. I will test again tomorrow morning with FMU and see if there’s any line progression. Have to wait till 8.30 tomorrow morning when the official telephone lines open to book bloods and my local satellite clinic only does them till 10am so I may have to wait till Thursday to do it as at that point in the morning it’ll be too late for me to decide to go into London with work etc…arghhhhh!! The perils of testing early I guess.
Having said that I also did a cross check with a cheap non early Freedom strip test and there is a line on that too! And it’s only marginally lighter than the CBL so possibly the CBL isn’t as sensitive as it should?? Hanging to every smallest thread of hope 😅😅😅

How’s everyone else doing? Anyone else tested today? xxx

So so sorry to hear this. And thank you so much for sharing even though it must be so hard, I can’t imagine what you’re going through.

I think my period is en route, due tomorrow and due to take a test on Thursday. My first ever ivf cycle, have 7 embabies on ice so feeling fortunate for that.

I think my period is en route, due tomorrow and due to take a test on Thursday. My first ever ivf cycle, have 7 embabies on ice so feeling fortunate for that.

@Greenleaves20 So sorry to hear it hasn’t worked out. I know there has to be an end of the road but I can’t imagine how hard it is when you get there.

@clhiu - Really pleased you got a positive and I think that's a good sign! I think it's looking v positive if the non early test is coming up!

I got a positive on a Clear Blue Digital today which was reassuring. I switched to cheapies to monitor line progression a few days ago as I was bankrupting myself on the clear blue earlies. I feel like it is darker today 7dp5dt (bottom) which is reassuring? Above are the two days prior.

Definitely have symptoms now - massive hunger and I get nausea if I don't eat, drowsiness and mild cramping/pulling sensation in my stomach. The cramps I find unsettling 😬

@MimosasInFrance so you started testing on day five after Tuesday's transfer? Is that right xx I also had my transfer on Tuesday if I've worked your days out right

Hi all, my second transfer. First was fresh top graded embryo. Failed. This one, frozen transfer. Tested 10d after tranfer. Positive faint, but i repeated after 2 days and line got darker. Confirmed by blood test on day 18. That faded as well but pregnancy tests are qutite dark now. Good luck all, have my viability scan in 3 weeks. Don't lose hope!

Forgot to say, no symptoms except for very light crampings sometimes. The symptoms even if we have will be from progesterone so don't trust them or the lack of, it means nothing.

@CR7 - To be honest I've been testing almost from the get go, couldn't help myself. That pic is from 5dpt onward though x

@Missanimosity thank you and thank you for your words of wisdom. Had cramps today for first time in three transfers (two unsuccessful with no symptoms) I had a pgt embryo transferred last Tuesday so i'm half way through the wait x

@MimosasInFrance Definitely reassuring, I think you’re on to a winner 😃, very pleased for you.

I know I shouldn’t compare from a photograph, different types of tests, lighting etc, but my early test line today at 11dpt was barley as dark as your 7dpt one, at best the same, but I think a bit lighter so I reckon it may be game over for me. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

So I tested just after half 6 this evening, didn’t drink for a few hours to ensure pee wasn’t too diluted, but wouldn’t have been quite like FMU. Anyway I got a positive on a Clear Blue Early, but it’s very faint, you can clearly see it, but I expected much darker for 11dpt, all my positive pregnancy tests were darker than that as far as I recall when testing on the same CD or earlier (appreciate though that IVF and natural pregnancies may behave differently). I also tested with a cheapy strip no early detection and there was a line on that too surprisingly although even fainter, a literal squinter. Anyway it was too late to call the clinic to book me in for BETA Hcg so have to wait for when they open tomorrow, just hoping they can squeeze me in then and I don’t have to wait till Thursday. I’m also going to repeat the test first thing tomorrow morning, if I see no line progression with FMU I think it may be all over for me

@MimosasInFrance So happy for you 🥲 I'm ok thanks but feeling quite defeated now. Test is negative at 9dp5dt so not sure if it was a chemical or just the trigger all along but I suspect chemical as I still had a faint positive at 7dp5dt. Also feel like my period is on the way. My partner is still hopeful as it's still early which is true, but I know it hasn't worked. Mostly disappointed with the numbers we achieved and what that means for our chances or success. 11 eggs collected and only 1 viable embryo so we're back to egg collection if we want to try again.

@Greenleaves20 So sorry for you, it's so tough. I've not had any bleeding yet but have all the period symptoms so I know it's just around the corner for me.

@clhiu Best of luck to you, a line is a line so keep the faith! I will check back soon to see how you got on 🤞🏼

@April623 what a horribly confusing time! When is your beta?

@MimosasInFrance looking like lovely progression lines! Are those the CB ultra early you're using?

I took a CB ultra early yesterday around 5pm and got what I think is a squinter but tbh I'm not sure if it showed up in the time window or if it's an evap line. Tried to take a photo to show you all but it's so faint that you can't see it 😫Took a regular CB this morning (so sensitivity is 25ml compared to the 10 of ultra early) and it's a bfn. Waiting on beta results from yesterday evening but also having cramping and not holding out much hope. In fact I had half a glass of wine last night because screw this sh*t that is IVF.
