2dp5dt, who else is in 2ww?

It’s the dreaded 2ww after my FET on Tues. checking for bleeding all the time, symptom spotting etc. How is everyone else doing?

Last night I had cramping and this morn had the tiniest amount of pinkish discharge. Could be combo of constipation causing cramps and pessaries irritating cervix rather than implantation. Don’t want to get hopes up as probs a bit early for implantation?!!

This is my 5th transfer and if successful will be our 3rd IVF baby. We’ve been incredibly lucky.

Hi @BermudaBliss and welcome to this dreaded zone! Sorry to hear the tests you’ve taken over the past two days are causing you worry, how may dpt is your official test date? I hope the line gets darker for you🤞🤞🤞

@April623 I’m feeling better thanks but nauseous this eve. Have obvs put that down to pregnancy nausea and not this bug I’ve got 🤦🏼‍♀️. My x3 tests today have been negative 😂. How are you doing?

I'm terrified to admit that I do have a clear line on today's test. I am 4dp5dt surely it is too early? It was my last test so I haven't been able to do another but will get more tomorrow.

Welcome @BermudaBliss and sorry to hear you are worried about your tests, hopefully the line will get stronger. Maybe worth trying a different brand?

@Greenleaves20 I feel fine but have some cramps, swollen boobs and tired, so positive signs, but I don't want to get ahead of myself! Will see what tomorrow brings 🤞🏼

@April623 that sounds super promising! If you already saw your triggerbline fading yesterday and got a clear line today I’m sure that’s a really good sign? Are you using normal tests or those early detection ones? Because with the latter is definitely possible!

@clhiu @MimosasInFrance Thank you 😬 The line was gone yesterday at 3dp so pretty sure the trigger is out of my system. Was shocked to see such a clear line today but scared to get my hopes up yet. Yes I am using early detection tests! Will update tomorrow. Good luck to everyone who is testing again tomorrow 🙈

That's amazing @April623 hope it continues in the coming days!

We have made it to our extended family holiday and DW does not want to test every morning while we're here - which is fair enough. But I did bring enough tests in case she changes her mind... tomorrow morning will be 5dp5dt which in my head is when it starts to become possible even if not likely to show.... I think we'll be waiting til Monday though.

Good morning! I’m starting to feel like a serious outsider here trying to hold off for my OTD next Thursday, really really tempted, plus I keep thinking about what @RunningOnHope said ‘something about being disappointed a little bit at a time instead of all in one go’ makes so much sense. I hate that you have to take progesterone that mimics symptoms but also stops you from bleeding and having your period so there’s no chance of knowing arrrrrrrghhhhhh!!!

Part of the reason for wanting to hold off is that whilst my trigger was 15 days ago so should have cleared by now is that I also had an intra-uterine HCG infusion on transfer day and whilst it was only a very small amount I’m concerned it could be lingering. At the time of planning my consultant reassured me that leaves your body after 3-4 days, but a clinic nurse yesterday told me it could show on a sensitive PT for up to 10 days and I’m 8dpt today so I probably should not test.

Also I felt really nauseous between 3-6dpt, but as of yesterday the nausea has completely stopped and now I think it was just the infusion and I was really stupid for letting myself been led on.

@Greenleaves20 how’s your cold? Hope you’re feeling better from it.

@RunningOnHope My DH is the same as your DW - he really doesn't want to test before OTD. In a way I'd rather know myself first so I can prepare myself if it's going to be disappointing.

@clhiu - In your situation I can totally see why you'd wait. I didn't have a trigger so wouldn't have to contend with the uncertainty of a positive line, but in your situation I think I'd feel the same!

My test this morning looks negative. To be expected but can't help feel sad. Good luck to everyone else!

Oh ladies my test looks negative this morning!!! 😩 Different brand but still early detection. There's a vvvvv feint line if I tilt towards the window but yesterday it was a clear positive so it does not look good! I have also awoken to period pains so not feeling optimistic at all now! 🤦🏻‍♀️ My partner is adamant that it's too early, I am still only 5dp5dt which I would agree with had I not seen the positive yesterday. The perils of too much testing...

@MimosasInFrance mine is negative this morning too. And I’ve got low back pain/cramping.

@clhiu id also be worried about getting a false positive in your situation. It would be even harder to deal with if you’d got hopes up and it wasn’t real!

@RunningOnHope can understand your DW not wanting to test esp on a family holiday - at least you can enjoy your holiday if you’re not thinking about it too much?! X

I've got absolutely no symptoms really. I said to my husband this morning that it's weird but I'm wishing for sore boobs and nausea!

I'm tired (but that could be the many hours spent in hospitals over the past few days). And this morning I woke up ravenous (I don't usually eat breakfast). But those are a stretch I think!

@April623 Oh I'm so sorry, that must feel so disheartening 💐 Was the trigger definitely out of your system when you got the clearer positive yesterday? I guess the next few days will give you some clarity but days feel so long when you're waiting to find out stuff like this. Sending you my very best wishes and hoping for a positive outcome for you.

Thank you all. Yes rather frustrating 🤦🏻‍♀️ @MimosasInFrance I am almost certain I was clear of the trigger shot because when I tested on Thursday the test was practically clear, vvvv feint line. Maybe yesterday's test was dodgy, who knows. Only time will tell for us all - yes days are so so long!!!

@RunningOnHope I hope your holiday provides a welcome distraction.

Owww @April623 I am sorry about the emotional testing rollercoaster you’ve been on. Though it can happen in some cases I’d say 5dpt is for most way way too early to get any conclusive results. So easier said than done, but best to see how tests look like in a few more days. Did you say the first 3 tests were all the same brand and today’s a different one? That could well have something to do with it. Also maybe a stupid question, but I was just on a different thread where this person started to despair as her line started to fade after getting a clear positive and she posted the picture of her tests and someone else pointed out she was reading control and test line and turns out it hadn’t faded at all, in fact was a dye stealer, it was the control line that had gotten lighter, madness! Thing is no one else on the thread had even noticed, the brain really makes us do and see strange things in this state.

@Greenleaves20 sorry it’s another negative. Definitely too early still for you too so hopefully you’re still in for a full chance. I keep reading cramping is actually a good sign more than s bad one and quite concerned I’m not actually having any myself.

@MimosasInFrance absolutely not weird at all, never thought I’d find myself longing for nausea and cramping as much as I do now.

@clhiu Yes different brand today only. I have more of the original brand arriving today so hey, why not test again when they get here 🤦🏻‍♀️ Here are the culprits... the clearblue is from today.

@April623 - ah yes I can see why you're confused, I wonder if it's the brand of test, especially as one is blue dye vs pink? 🤔

I got what I thought was a super faint (barely there, literally just a shadow) positive yesterday afternoon with one of my branded tests. Woke up excited to test this morning but the line isnt really any darker even with FMU so I'm feeling quite discouraged and convincing myself I've been looking at an evaporation line. None of my cheap tests are giving me anything. I guess I have to just wait and see!

@April623 I agree using two different brands may be the issue here, especially with the two different colour dye, I’d try to give it at least another couple of days before testing again, with any brand.

@MimosasInFrance remind me please how many dpt are you? I’m sure it continues to be too early for most of us, in fact I think I may be the furthest along on this thread and still haven’t tested although I’m being extra cautious I realise.

Woke up after lots of sweating and very vivid anxious dreams, including that when I got up and went to the bathroom first there was lots of spotting on the tissue, I have cramping now so terrified about going for a wee and find lots of blood.
