@seekingbabyk Congratulations on the house. That's amazing news! Happy stimming today! As you said, it'll be over within a couple of weeks and with the higher dose, maybe you can stop stimming by day 10 perhaps? Hope it won't be too bad this time, but if you do, definitely get them to lower the dose. I'm sure the supplements and lifestyle changes would have made a big difference too. So fingers crossed it will be a better cycle for you. Less pressure as well as you've already got a couple in the freezer. All the best X

@Imisscoffee2021 great you've moved out now and can settle for a bit until baby comes. Aww how time has flown! Have you bought any bits yet?

@seekingbabyk sorry forgot to say congratulations on the new house! Exciting times :) I've been bought a few bits and ended up getting some things that were too cute to pass up and on sale but just clothes, not getting anything big until much much nearer the date, feels like a jinx if I do! How are you @Tinkerbell098 ? Have you got your anomaly scan date?

@Imisscoffee2021 I'm alright. Got another midwife appointment coming up next week, so hoping to hear the heartbeat on the doppler. Yes, they booked my anomaly scan when I went for the 12 week scan. It's at the end of April. Can't wait! Hubby is a bit undecided if he wants to find out the gender or not and I really want to. So might have to kick him out of the room to ask the sonographer to let me know in secret 😂. I have asked around in a few nub theory groups (just for fun) and it looks like a girl so far ❤Of course I know it's not reliable, but was a fun thing to do at the time!

@Tinkerbell098 that's so cute I would definitely also do that!

@Tinkerbell098 I was staring at the nub in scans, and head shape etc, and it all pointed to the boy I now know he is! Have you got a preference at all? Will be lovely to hear the heartbeat! I misunderstood my appointments and thought a consultant one was the midwife one so I never actually had my 16 week midwife one but a midwife at the hospital listened to the heartbeat for me when she realised my mistake!

Be nice for you to know the gender and if hubby changes his mind you can tell him yourself :)

Thank you @Spin101I am off work for the rest of the week, depending on what they decide to do on Friday I may be off next week too. I had acupuncture this morning and feel really good!

@seekingbabyk I totally agree with your thoughts. 10 mature eggs and 9 fertilised is amazing, and ending up with 2 blasts is then down to quality. That's excatly what my consultant said to us (we had 12, 11 and 2 respectively). That's why she put us on supplements. You already have a great quantity, now they need to fucus on quality. but then i guess you take your supplements, and maybe they're hoping for more blasts by upping your dose as well. god your side effects don't sound pleasant. I had none at all, apart from the obvious bloating and swelling of the ovaries. Maybe write a note for the scan team now, before the foggy brain set in haha.

Jeezz 6'4??? @Imisscoffee2021 @seekingbabyk that's amazing. You'll defo have big babies then 😁 My OH is just a bit taller than me and I'm 5'8, I wish he was taller so I could wear nice heels on occasions lol.

@Imisscoffee2021 Hope the moving about isn't too much effort for you atm. Sounds like you have a nice plan for the next few years. Gosh I'd love a maternity leave. fingers crossed i get to have one! and nice you got to go to Berlin and spend some time with your nephew, cute.

@Tinkerbell098 aw i'd also want to know the gender. It'd be a funny situation if you knew and he didn't. You might accidently tell him along the line 😅and you can tease him that you'll tell him 😅

I’m ok thank you. Been trying to make the most of the time off before the next transfer. I have my consultation in the next few weeks. I hope I find out what my protocol is going to be.

@seekingbabyk I hope you get answers to your questions when you next see the doctor! I hope you don’t feel unwell on the stims.

@seekingbabyk good luck on stims! It'll be over soon and then you can relax 💪🏼 definitely monitor how you feel with OHSS. I was put on a higher dose despite high AMH due to low response first time round - while it helped with eggs collected, I felt rough after. Also you've had supplements so fingers crossed for loads of blasts 🤞🏼

And congrats on the house. 🏠 we move into ours in May! We're moving city to be closer to family (is this a good idea, who knows but we shall see 😅)

@Tinkerbell098 ah it'll be nice to hear the heartbeat! My anomaly scan is also end of April (27th) but I've booked a private one at 16 weeks as I got a bit anxious. 🙈

An update to my previous high risk diagnosis - I had news back from the hospital screening dept giving the all clear. Now waiting for our next scan 🤞🏼

And my mum would want to know if I knew and she's really not good at secrets and may let it out herself 😂

@Imisscoffee2021 sounds like nub theory worked for you. From everyone who commented, it sounded like it was quite obvious so we shall see. I didn't have a preference at the start, but now that it maybe a girl, I have pictured myself more with a girl in my head and also had a few dreams me holding a girl too. Oh well, I will know for sure next month!

@ralno2 I was feeling fine but I am absolutely furious now. I just had an email from the multi cycle company that we used and it said this.

Thanks for using Access Fertility and we’re sorry that we weren’t able to help you achieve success this time.We can confirm that you have now completed the Access Fertility Multi-Cycle programme.We realise that IVF can be a stressful experience for patients and that you may now want to take some time away from treatment.Your clinic has submitted your final outcome and you have now completed the Multi-Cycle Programme. Any further treatment will now be payable directly to your clinic.

not only is it bad timing they should wait a bit before sending something like that, it’s the fact that the clinic has told them the outcome is pregnancy has ended, when I’ve not even had my scan to confirm it yet with EPU today!

if that’s the case why not just tell me that on Tuesday and tell me to stop taking progesterone etc?? Although they were not positive about it they never once said the pregnancy had ended the nurse even said in the EPU they might have a different findings baby might be bigger heartbeat etc. I know we already accepted it but we have not had it confirmed so there’s always that little hope you hold on to! Just so insensitive hours before I go to the scan!!

OMG @1stcycle that is absolutely disgusting. I cannot believe your clinic has passed on info that they haven't even given you yet!! I would put a complaint in straight away. and yes the pure cheek of sending an email like that straight away. I'd complain to access fertility as well. WTF

@1stcycle oh my god, how awful. That's incredibly insensitive.

What time have you got your scan today with EPU?

I would definitely email them about the appropriateness/ inconsiderate timing of the email.

@Honeybunie @ralno2 thanks both, my husband has emailed a them both complaining. Just feel like it’s a nervous and stressful time waiting for this scan last thing I need is for an email saying sorry you were unsuccessful this time when I haven’t even been informed myself yet.

The scan is at 1.30 and just made me so much more nervous and upset for it!

Oh @1stcycle I'm so sorry you have this added on to your stress. That's awful they have sent this this soon too. I hope you get some kind of apology or outcome to put things right.

@1stcycle and yes to keep you on the progesteron but already inform Access fertility? I am lost for words. It's sounds like something went totally wrong there. you don't need this added stress. Wishing you a lot of strength for the scan x

That's so awful @1stcycle , it's like the only time clinics are efficient is when it's hard and money related, they just know what a hugely emotional thing it is to step foot in an IVF clinic let alone be going through a cycle. Wishing you hope for the scan xx

Thanks all, had the scan, measured slightly bigger but still behind and no heartbeat but they said I have to go back in a week for them to confirm and then treatment. Hopefully I’ll bleed in between and won’t need to go back as it’s just an effort waiting etc.
