I’m having a FET on a regular cycle so I’m currently testing for a smiley ov test, then will be heading in for a scan once I get an positive, and a transfer the week after if all is well on the scan.

I think that will be in just under two weeks 🤞🏼

Our transfer is set for Wednesday @Tinkerbell098we have four in total after the previous one, however two of those are grade 2 (not 100% sure what that means). Thanks @Imisscoffee2021☺️

Hi girls! I decided to test yesterday morning (6dp5dt), but realised all the tests I had were expired 🤦‍♀️ I had them in my drawer from my last pregnancy three years ago. The easy@home tests expired in Aug 2024 so about 14 months out of date. I decided to use them anyway. Out of three, one had a very very very faint line (came up within a minute), so am worried it’s a chemical. I had a leftover FRER, which expired in February 2024, so about 20 months out of date. I held my wee for about 6 hours and tested with that and could see a very very very faint line again. I know I’m being silly and should just get some new tests but I’m too scared. I didn’t save my FMU today so not going to test today as it ruined my whole day yesterday. OTD is Friday so I’ll have to test then anyway. I’m really worried as I’ve had chemicals before and it’s awful!

I have tested with three easy@homes and one digital this morning. All were negative. I’m devastated. It’s the end of the journey for us as we always said we’d try one ivf round to get our little girl a sibling. OTD is tomorrow.

@Tinkerbell098 oh I’m sooooo sorry to read this 😔 sorry I haven’t been replying in a while. Don’t have much time these days to message. But have been following and just wanted to say how sorry I am. I hope you can get to terms with this outcome. It must be so hard to have got your hopes up for a sibling 😔 sending lots of love ❤️ and a big hug 🫂 xx

I'm so sorry Tinkerbell :( You've been incredibly brave trying again, when having success before and then risking it all again for another child, honestly it's so brave. Your little one will know one day you tried absolutely everything to give them a sibling xx

@Honeybunie @Imisscoffee2021 @MinBins thanks so much girls, i really appreciate your words. Part of me felt guilty for even wanting a second, given we are already blessed with one, but we wanted a sibling for her as we know she’d love one. It’s heartbreaking. I still find it hard that it comes so easily for most other people, so why not us? It’s too cruel.

Ah @Tinkerbell098thinking of you today. There’s nothing to feel guilty about, and you’re right it’s heartbreaking. If you can, do plan something in to take your mind away from things over the next weeks. It’s what got me through our previous FET. Sending lots of hugs.

I did a Clearblue early detection test today which is 6dp 5dt and it was negative. Think we’re out on this one - feel pants but have to trudge on. Think we’ll have a think of our next steps and see if we’re able to take another round in the future (financially and mentally.) I’ll do another test on Monday which is the clinic given date to test. I really don’t like this feeling but gonna try to stay positive.

@MinBins I’m really sorry 😔 it’s really horrible and so unfair. All we can do is stay positive. I’ve been cherishing my little one even more after last week’s failure. That’s all we can do at the moment. Hope you can do something nice in the weekend. We are here if you need to talk Xx
