@Honeybunie i’m doing ok thank you. I have my scan tomorrow. Feeling a little nervous about it. I really really hope my lining is nice and thick ready for a transfer next week. Otherwise I think they’ll give me patches. I hope the supplements are doing their magic for you x

Hi all.
Not tuned in for a week or so. Lots of lovely updates here! I've got my Wk12 Scan on Thursday, hoping everything will be good and we can start thinking about announcing our news to people. Will let you know! I've had a very easy ride and barely had any symptoms at all tbh, just lots of bloating! It seems weird to be growing a baby but not feeling anything, but I won't complain!

@MinBins I'm so glad your first scans went well. I was awfully anxious for mine so I know what it's like. Hopefully you can relax now and enjoy the rest of first trimester as risk is like halved after Wk6 heartbeat detected. I booked in a Wk9 scan for peace of mind as it felt too long waiting until Wk12! There's a huge difference between Wk6 and Wk9 scan image, it was quite remarkable!

@Decaffe That's amazing!! I didn't reply in time but I had 3 embryos at Day 3 (1xGr1, 2xGr2) and 1 was transferable at Day 5 (Gr4) and another made it to freezer on Day 6 (Gr3). Now the Day 5 embryo is 11 weeks and growing nicely in my tummy ☺️, it can definitely happen l!

@Spin101 all the best for your scan today. Hope your lining is nice and thick and you can go ahead with transfer next week X

@Cat89 Thank you. It was a huge relief. stopped the anxiety for a little bit haha! Good to know no symptoms doesn't mean anything's wrong. Pleased everything's going well for you and all the best for the scan this week. it's a major milestone and would be exciting to break the news to everyone!

Hi all, thanks for all your lovely best wishes, very kind! Could not believe when I heard, the relief was immense.

To those who have asked, we won’t transfer until the results of my RIF blood tests come back, and until after my combined laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. I don’t know how long the waiting list is for the op but I will know more after Thursday when I have my pre-op assessment. I’m planning on telling them I will be happy to accept a same-day cancellation if necessary!

@seekingbabyk How’s the holiday? I’m currently quite chilly in my Oodie haha!

@1stcycle how are you getting on with stims? Good luck for your next scan on Wednesday. Did you enjoy sushi?! The thought of it is making hungry, must be time for lunch!

@Decaffe Just had my scan this morning - they are scanning me again on Wednesday (initially they said my egg collection will be Wednesday now they think it will be Friday).

8 follicles showed up in my scan - 5 follicles look good - not at the 18mm mark yet but getting there. 2 lead follicles still showing.

They have put me on Menopur 450iu until Wednesday so hopefully that will get the rest growing!

all happening so quickly - bet you all feel the same!

Thank you @Decaffe and @Tinkerbell098. Lining was still on the thin side so they’ve prescribed me patches and booked me in for another scan on Friday.

@Honeybunie the nurse said I can apply the patches anywhere but the leaflet says below the waistline. Where did you apply yours? Worried I’ll get it wrong!

That's great development @ralno2 fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. How do you feel about egg collection? It definitely goes by quickly, but also shows our strength for getting through these stages. Well done for making it through the stims 💪🏼

@Decaffe hope the pre-op assessment goes well! And thank you - getting properly nervous now but thinking whatever happens we'll just keep putting one step in front of the other. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Good luck for your 12 week scan @Cat89 mine is on Wednesday for week 6 so I'm keeping everything crossed till then. Week 9 scan sounds like a great idea - there's such a long time between week 6 and 12!

I am really looking forward to it - I am over the injections now. My stomach is battered from all the injections I am doing atm 😆 I bruise really easily.

I have provisionally booked the day off work on Friday so really hoping it goes ahead then.

My lining is 10.60 at this stage, 10 days on Menopur - is that normal? The nurse was just asking a lot of questions about whether I had bled or had discharge so got a little concerned - I’ve not bled but just had discharge- just curious as to why she was asking.

Ah yay! Glad you're looking forward to it @ralno2 - you'll have the weekend to relax and enjoy yourself afterwards, too!

The injections can get a bit much towards the end and coupled with bloating.

I'm unsure about why the nurse asked about spotting or discharge, but I think the lining is within a positive range of thickness. 🙌🏼

@Cat89 exciting you have your 12w scan this week! Do you have anything planned for the announcement?

@Decaffe sushi was lovely thanks, ate too much though haha! Stims have been fine so far, no bruising yet and not feeling uncomfortable or anything…but it’s only been 3 days of stims so far so I’m sure that will change lol! feels like it’s also going really fast this time for some reason.

@ralno2 great progress on the scan and good lining! Are you triggering tomorrow? Almost done now! I remember after about a week of stims, I really had enough with the injections. They were taking over my life LOL. But all worth it in the end. All the best X

@ralno2 that's a great increase in follicles! It made a big difference waiting a few more days to my mature egg count so as much as you will start hoping for trigger it really is worth getting through those last few days!

@Spin101 fingers crossed for Fridays scan - it's great they are monitoring you so closely!

@MinBins good luck for tomorrow! I'm sure everything will be fine! What time is your scan?

Thanks @Tinkerbell098 I am excited, but also reminded of my last scan when they couldn't find anything - so that reels me back in. But I'm staying positive - and pushing the nervous feelings away to deal with tomorrow (when no doubt I'll be a nervous wreck!)

Did they let your partner in when you went for a scan? I'm not sure with our clinic, they haven't let him in for anything so far, just till the waiting room - they're still following covid protocol. It would be nice to have him there.

@MinBins aww yes can't help the nerves, especially when you've had a bad outcome previous time. I was the same, just thinking constantly that it would be a repeat of last time. But try to stay positive. Are you 6 weeks tomorrow? Yes they let my husband in. I'd be surprised if they don't. All the best tomorrow X

I have another tracking scan tomorrow (hopefully my last before egg collection!). Happy with the increase in follicle number, just hoping that they have reached the right size. I had 2 at 19mm on Monday, 3 at 12mm and 3 at 7mm@seekingbabyk I am hoping the 12mm ones have caught up!!

Ahh Thanks @Imisscoffee2021 and @Tinkerbell098 - I'm 7.2 weeks. On my OTD the nurse told me I was at 4.1 weeks so I've calculated by that.

Ah that's reassuring that he'll be allowed in - I'm gonna keep everything crossed and try to relax tonight. Glad it's in the morning so I am not waiting too during the day! 🙈🤞🏼💕

Good luck tomorrow @MinBins !! Let us know how it goes. I had two pregnancies before this one, both found to be ectopic at the Wk6/7 scan so I totally get the anxiety for early scans!!! This one via IVF was a total high though the moment sonographer said everything was ok, I couldn't believe it! Positive vibes! Xxxx
