Hi ladies! 👋
Just as the post says... cycle day 1 of my first IVF round, 20 days until I start Norethisterone then Menopur & Fyremadel.
Looking for others starting cycle or in the cycle for some company.
Sending lots of luck to you all! ❤️

Imisscoffee2021 · 13/10/2022 12:25

2 days late! Typing while walking sorry for all the typos!

seekingbabyk · 13/10/2022 12:29

@1stcycle I was 4 days late this cycle so definitely messes you up a bit lol!

Tinkerbell098 · 13/10/2022 12:50

Ladies, my blood test has confirmed pregnancy. She mentioned the level was 119 (which google thinks is low for almost 5 weeks, but clinic didn't seem too bothered). Scan booked for 1st November!

MammyandAva · 13/10/2022 12:54

Has anyones clinic changed the price. I was quoted £2500 for the IVF lite (not including medication) they have now invoiced me £2995 and have said since I was provided the price in July the prices at the clinic have increased.

I'm not sure how they can do that with the expenses already being enough to pay 😭

seekingbabyk · 13/10/2022 12:55

@Tinkerbell098 omg that's amazing!!! Congratulations! So happy for you xx

Wonderful news Tinkerbell, you're our first graduate! Grin

Imisscoffee2021 · 13/10/2022 13:42

@Tinkerbell098 huge congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you and your DP! Xxxx

Tinkerbell098 · 13/10/2022 13:58

@seekingbabyk @Decaffe @Imisscoffee2021 thanks so much. I'm still very cautious of course as it is very early days and I've heard so many horror stories.

1stcycle · 13/10/2022 16:42

@Tinkerbell098 congratulations! That’s amazing news! Hope November the 1st comes around quick for you xxx

Tinkerbell098 · 13/10/2022 17:40

@1stcycle thanks! Still think the levels are so low and I’ve read it should be over 200 at this stage to make it viable. So still a long way to go yet! I’m surprised they aren’t doing a second blood test to see how rapidly it’s rising.

MinBins · 13/10/2022 18:06

Eep congratulations @Tinkerbell098 !

Imisscoffee2021 · 13/10/2022 18:46

@Tinkerbell098 I follow a woman on Instagram who has low hcg at first, every beta trst was anxiety ridden and every scan a stress, and she ended up in the thousands after a few weeks and pregnancy is viable, so it does happen, fingers crossed for your embaby to keep sticking and growing!

seekingbabyk · 13/10/2022 18:47

Yes I've seen quite a few like that too with low numbers but you could have just implanted a couple of days late or something? Sending all the positive vibes x

Tinkerbell098 · 13/10/2022 19:05

Thanks everyone! It’s going to be a long two and a bit weeks. Really tempted to get an earlier scan but then worried if that doesn’t show much I’d be devastated so probably better to wait. When does this worry end haha!

Spin101 · 13/10/2022 20:25

@Tinkerbell098 that’s great news! :) See how you feel and if an earlier scan feels right, you could go for one? Would that be at 6 weeks?

Tinkerbell098 · 13/10/2022 21:02

@Spin101 yes earliest they’d scan in my area is 6 weeks.

Decaffe · 15/10/2022 08:23

Morning all, how’s everyone doing? @MinBins how’s the stimming going? Do we have anyone else who’s stimming?

I just wanted to share this, it’s my resting heart rate over the month. It instantly reminds me of a BBT chart, don’t you think?! I’ve looked back on previous months and I’ve never been able to see a pattern like this before, I think because when I drink then my overnight RHR goes high so usually it’s skewed 🤨😳

Have a lovely weekend everyone 😊

@Decaffe very interesting! Hope you are keeping well X

seekingbabyk · 15/10/2022 12:16

@Decaffe - yes that is interesting!

I had a nurse consultation yesterday on the phone about our next round. They are so lovely at our clinic I am really excited to get going again to be honest. Booked for hubby and I to go to new York beginning of December as a surprise for his birthday so hoping not to be late again next month as I wanted at least ten days after EC to be able to get back to normal. We are doing a freeze all next cycle and then another full round hopefully in Jan.

How's the estrogen going @Imisscoffee2021 ? Any side effects?

MinBins · 15/10/2022 13:32

Ah it's going! Ive began to take two injections now and one day I do it smoothly the next day not so much. But its all part of the fun haha!

I had a scan this morning and the follicles haven't grown as expected so I've had to increase the dose of Meriofert and my next scan is on Tuesday. The EC was expected on Weds but they think it will be early next week now.

They had me on a lower dose due to risk of OHSS, but hopefully it'll still be okay.

That totally looks like a BBT chart!

Imisscoffee2021 · 15/10/2022 18:34

@seekingbabyk no symptoms at all! Had a lovely long walk today and had alot of jogs this week so it's easy to forget I'm in a cycle atm compared to the fresh one! Got a scan on 21st so hopefully lining is nice and thick, I start three tablets instead of two tomorrow. Fab you've had your next consultation and ball is rolling! New York in December will be fab, I went in November a few years ago and was freezing but so much fun :)
@MinBins hope the added meriofert gets those follicles going, are you having extra monitoring scans due to risk of OHSS?

seekingbabyk · 15/10/2022 18:37

@Imisscoffee2021 that great you are t feeling any effects - I've heard some people get headaches etc. I'm guessing you will start progesterone pessaries again too nearer to transfer?

Imisscoffee2021 · 15/10/2022 18:47

@seekingbabyk now you've said that I have had wierd left sided headaches 🤣 the nurse only mentioned nausea and because I've not had that I thought I had to symptoms! Clearly have now I think of it, like a wierd throbbing brief headache.

Imisscoffee2021 · 15/10/2022 18:49

@seekingbabyk yes to pessaries too, and they're going to test my progesterone the day before now too so if it's low on 26th, they'll transfer on 27th and give me some lubion injections to supplement the pessaries too :)
