ABC ivf thread continued 2

Hello I have been following a few ABC ivf clinic threads since beginners Ng of this year as I had my first baseline scan in Wimbledon clinic in may and had a few things to overcome before I can proceed I found the threads very helpful and comforting to follow and notice the last one ended and can't find a next one so thought I would make one ahead of my upcoming treatment soon :)

Hi thought I would try and tag you as saw your last message on the previous abcivf thread? Was wondering how everything went and if you got your bfp? You mentioned brown spotting quite early on so maybe it was implantation?

I have my TSH blood test yesterday morning so fingers crossed for a good low results next week!

Hi ladies. Love to join the thread.I have also joined abc Wimbledon brach. All my test are complete and they have accepted us on abc. I just waiting for my period to start to commence my first cycle with them. I had conventional ivf in past and I was successful . Fingers crossed for everyone who is going through this.

@Akter1984 Hi 😊, welcome that's amazing good luck with it all would love to hear how everything goes I'm about to start their soon and very anxious. Currently awaiting tsh result which was too high before.
How have you found Wimbledon so far?

So far my experience is ok. I've just started my period today (2nd Nov ) will start my stim from Thursday. I let you know how I progress from there

Hi guys, I’m on Day 2 and did my first injection today, got to say it wasn’t half as bad as I expected. How’s everyone getting on? I’m going to ABC Harley St on Fri for my first scan

@ChocolateinBrugges exciting nice to hear positive things with the jabs I'm so nervous for that my partner is going to do first one for me..

I had my TSH results back today at 2.79 :( very upset and disappointed. Have emailed Lucinda at Wimbledon my results and waiting to hear what to do as have my baseline scan on Tuesday next week .. hoping can carry on and up dose of levothyroxine or something hopefully hear from her tomorrow ...

Oh I’m sorry it wasn’t the result you were hoping for @Herehoping93 I’ve got my fingers crossed for you that you hear good news from Wimbledon

Herehoping93: just on my knowledge on this. TSH levels ideally need to be below 2.5 for fertility/conception. Do speak to nurse see if they can up ur dosage to bring it down. I would recommend you don't start ivf until this is below the 2.5 level

Just spoke to the consultant at Wimbledon and they are happy for me to proceed levels fluctuate expecially just before you period which is when I happened to have my blood test and can make levels rise. They will keep me monitored and raise my dose of levothyroxine if necessary but I am okay to proceed. :) Got baseline scan on 9th.. thank you I'm planning on having my IVF in December @Akter1984 so I will defo have another blood test to make sure level is down enough .thank you @ChocolateinBrugges just got to wait for my scan now happy now

That's great @Herehoping93, good luck with your cycle. And good luck to @ChocolateinBrugges too, we're at Harley St too so looking forward to hearing your experiences. We are going to start in Jan.

Quick update: on day 2 of my stims with Bemfola. First scan booked for 8th nov. So far so good. These injections are actually pretty easy to administer.. Let's see how the cetride meds go, herd they are more fidely....

@Akter1984 good luck with your scan coming on Monday my second baseline scan is Tuesday.. was the bemfola in a pre loaded pen to inject so worried I'm going to mess up with these injections. When do you start the centride ? Do you have to do 2 injections a day? Sorry for all the questions glad going well so far excited to hear your results coming up

Hi - yes the bemfola is a pre loaded pen. I'm sure you will find it easy as well.. once you watch the video. Not sure when I will start cetoride yet. I think once I go for my first scan on mon- they tell me when to administer that. That C injection is more fidely as we need mix the liquid with the powder

Just update: had my first scan since starting my stims. So far all look good. Have been told to start cetroide from tomorrow morning. not looking forward to this.
How is everyone else doing ? Will be nice to hear other ppl jounery's

I’m doing awful, only got 3 follicles, really struggling tonight. Feeling like what’s the point. I don’t think mild stimulation works for me

Sorry to hear that ..... how many eggs was viable during the scans you went too?

I assume ur eggs not been collected yet? Will they up ur dosage?

Hi @Akter1984 They’ve said there is a massive gap between slow growing and fast growing ones so upping the dosage won’t close the gap...we will just have to go with the 3...

What day scan have u just had? Mine was first scan ( day 6) I will go back on wed for further scan.

Mine was D7. I will also go back Wed.

@Akter1984 glad your scan went well, good luck with those c injections.
@ChocolateinBrugges don't give up hope, I have read a lot about their mild approach producing less egg but of better quality so fingers crossed for you on next scan.

My scan tomorrow at 11am so update after.

Hi ladies, would I be able to join you on your IVF support journey? We had our first consultation with ABC Harley Street today after a baseline scan and blood tests last week. My TSH was high at 2.7 so have been prescribed levothyroxine to bring it down but the dr said that it would not delay treatment. DH has 2% morphology so we will be getting ICSI. Now waiting for an appointment with the Fertility nurse to find out more about when we can get going with treatment. It's all very nerve wracking but exciting at the same time.
