anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

@lastbany I got a pack of 100 for £20. I only use about 5-10 strips a month. It would last me for ages. There are smaller boxes but I just went all out 😂

@Elakiya ah ye got hundreds of the cheapos but don't find them very good ots the clear blue I used to get but won't be getting anymore :) clomid was my last go last month so this month I'm going solo lol

@lastbany oh really? did you see a big difference? I have never tried clearblue?

They seems to wirk lol tbh I only did them for one month with my baby got peak and bang pregnant! This was two years ago she is 18 months we have been trying from about 4 month pp and nothing!!

I’ve just done an opk test cd12 it’s totally negative not even the hint of a second line. I’m assuming the clomid hasn’t really worked ? When does the surge start showing ?

Argh @J90A that’s so frustrating when you are expecting lines and nada. It can change so quick though so hope someone here can give you a. Answer and that tomorrow’s test is better for you!

@lastbany I’m sure you should get a medal for that! When our daughter was 4 months old I could barely get out of PJs, let alone think about having baby making sex 🤣🤣🤣 - bet you are glad you didn’t wait too long to try again given what’s happened for you!

@ItsAlice I know! I find it bizarre! I put it down to age! No idea what else I have three children two are teenagers a baby and my partner is dad to our youngest and he is 10 years younger than me! So I don't know what's happening!!

Lol don’t knock it - I’m a right lazy git when it comes to our bedroom activities, I’d be happy with once a week but no, NHS advise a month long bonkathon when TTC and you can definitely have too much of a good thing!! Bet your husband wasn’t complaining though 🤣

On a separate note, has anyone had a twitchy eye whilst on clomid? Mine only rarely does it and it tends to be if I’m tired but it’s been twitching constantly today and it’s driving me mad. I only started my first round of clomid yesterday so I’m probably reading into a coincidence but it’s so annoying!

@ItsAlice that's really funny! I have had one for 4 days! Same here have had in past with stress or tiredness however I haven't taken it this cycle but could be after effect??

I have the twitchy eye too! It’s just got better, but soooo annoying! I don’t usually have this, so could well be the Clomid.

Oooh glad it's not just me! In the grand scheme of things its no problem, but its a bit annoying isnt it! Everything crossed that round 3 is the one for you - it would be so great for you if that is the last time you had to take a clomid tablet :)

Doesn’t help that NHS has just told me that there’s no follow-up appointment for another 3 months or so after this as they are so backlogged :( so I am starting private now… definitely not what I wanted after the first time round on Clomid worked like a spell in the first cycle.

Having a really bad day so thought I’d come on here as the only place people truly understand. My best friend sent me a picture of her huge baby bump today as she’s due soon and even though I’m ecstatic for her sometimes I feel totally left out.

Started taking progesterone and that always makes me feel a bit off as well, hate taking it.

Just want the TWW to not feel like it lasts forever 😔

Oh no @Luna1108 :( that must be so hard. One of my best friends recently had her fourth child and although I am so happy for her, I can’t help but sometimes have these ugly and sad feelings… you put on a brave face and get a present and all, but inside it’s another story. Big hug!

@Luna1108 I’d feel the same way 😞. Actually my friend is due this month but she didn’t tell me until 30 weeks and now I don’t even want to go and see her. I’m using covid as my excuse to not visit. 😅

@Luna1108 oh no! I know the feeling my cousin who has 3 kids already, gf is pregnant and he said he didn’t want another baby as it was a surprise! Soo annoying (doesn’t know my struggles) now my bf both brother are having babies all 3 due at the same time. So annoying isn’t it. At least we all know how each other feels on here. Update on my opk testing after yesterday complete negative I was so disappointed but tonight I got this result! Hoping that it leads to eventual ov and not fade dx

@J90A negative I think but only just. That left line needs to be the same or darker and looks aaaaalmost the same. May be easier for you to see though?

I wondered if anyone has had any pain as a side effect. I’ve got pain on my left side down very low. Has it since yesterday when I walk I can feel it and when we having sex it was really sore in that area. If we weren’t ttc I wouldve had to stop. Anyone else had this?? Not sure it’s because of ovulation I don’t usually ov

@J90A that OPK doesn’t seem far off and it’s changed a lot v quickly so it is looking good for you! Are they giving you tracking scans? I swear I could feel ovulation but it might be confirmation bias 🤣 was never painful painful though - could be a bit of swelling but might be worth getting checked out?

@ItsAlice yeah it has changed so fast! I'm hoping tomorrow it will show positive. It's like a heavy pressure. I'm not getting scans just weekly urine samples. Hand them in after 4 weeks and they will test for ov. I called the nurse today she said it sounds like ov as it's one sided. It's actually going round to my back not very painful but a dull ache. She said it should pass but if it doesn't to get back in touch. She also said there a risk of over stimulation! I'll see how it is tomorrow xx

Hi All. I’m not sure which thread to post on so please shout up if this crosses over too much but hoping for a bit of advise

33yr old. TTC number 1 for nearly 3 years and after all investigations I was finally given 4x rounds of clomid. I was lucky to fall on my first cycle but had a PUL @ 8 weeks in may. I bled pretty quickly but then my HCG levels stayed the same for 4 weeks so they ended up removing left over pregnancy tissue.

I’ve had all the signs of PMT and thought AF had arrived when I had light brown discharge on Wed (sorry TMI) which would be normal before a bleed but it has stayed the same now for 3 days with not the slightest hint of 🩸.

I really want to get back on clomid this cycle but not really sure when to start taking? (Normally day 2-6)and wondered if any of you ladies had been in a similar situation?

I’m sorry to hear about you loss, that must be so hard. This journey is terrible at times!

As far as the next round is concerned, I’m pretty sure you need to wait until theres full 🩸 but I’m not an expert by any means.
