So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

@Clomid1 I had weekly urine samples samples for 8 weeks which confirmed I didn't ovulate. But I am on the 50mg the lowest one so far anyway.

Then there is another tablet and then injections and then ivf. Xx

@J90A we’ll get there. I watch a lot of infertility vlogs on youtube. So happy when they get pregnant gives me hope. How old are you? I am 30.

@J90A @Clomid1 I'm now 12/13dpo and have been having cramps and back ache for the last day or so.. I feel like AF is coming but never appears, feel a bit flu like too so may be coming down with something

I'm going away tonight to a hot tub cabin so I am going to try and forget about it and have a few drinks!

What I find is if you cut all fun from your life then this becomes even more of a burden. So I don’t think a drink here or there will make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. Enjoy yourself

@Clomid1 @J90A although I am going away with a few heavily pregnant friends so it might not be too easy to forget haha.

I'm day 28 today so I would think some point this weekend as my last 2 cycles was 30 then 28 days xx

@s154 i had a miscarriage earlier in the year (without clomid) but I had no symptoms whatsover and genuinely thought AF was going to arrive and it didn’t. so my view is you’re never out until AF arrives

@Clomid1 @s154 I don't a test CD 34 17dpo. BFN. I'm assuming i didn't ovulate this month.

Hi all, just over a week until my call from the consultant confirming when I can start y clomid and what dose I'll be on! 🎉 I thought as it's been ages since I originally posted on this thread I'll give you all a bit of background info on me -
I'm 42, have two children (15&16) with my previous partner and my current partner has two children (13&14) but we have none together.
I had a mc in April 2017, then waited a bit as advised at the time (shouldn't have waited) started ttc again April 2018 and nothing since! So 3.5 years ttc with no luck, I have adenomyosis probably endometriosis amd possible pcos as well, though I never had any of them previously, or any issues conceiving before, I have had all the tests possible and apart from very low iron nothings been majorly out of place, my oh has had and sa which was good so no reason why we can't conceive it's just not happening. I'm with an nhs consultant who is not interested at all in the complications and is putting me on clomid 3-6 months then may do more investigations!
Also for those not sure if they're ovulating, I have irrational cycles 24-66 days long, on those longer cycles I get ov signs and positive opk but no temp rise, this happens three times four times before I get the temp rise after the last peak, so it may be hugely beneficial for you to be taking your bbt, it'll confirm if you're having false ovulation symptoms like I do. I also have a changing Lp ranging between 9-17 days, all things the consultant doesn't seem bothered about.

So I've had 2 successful (as in I ovulated) cycles on 50mg. But cycle 3 I didn't ovulate. Back to the doctor on Tuesday to find out if they will keep me on 50mg or increase to the next dose. Anyone else had this? I didn't know this was a thing. I thought as it worked twice that was me. I don't even know how to feel today. X

@s154 BFN. Back to the nurse on Tuesday as I mustn't have ovulated so will start on the progesterone again and they will ask the dr wether to go back on 50mg clomid or 100mg. Annoying because I got the CM and positive ovulation test. And ovary pains. But mustnt have released the egg. Xx

@J90A that's exactly what happens to me - false ovulation, that's why I have to use opk and bbt to confirm it.

@Marvellouslymadmum it's so annoying eh I thought because clomid worked the first two cycles at 50mg it would work every time at that dose and that's all I needed. (I rarely ovulate without). what did they do for you? Xx

@J90A I am feeling the same, AF arrived this weekend so I will be ringing up tomorrow to book my HSG and onto cycle 4.. I hear the HSG can increase fertility for a few months so hears hoping next month is the one xxx

@s154 aw sorry hun, never gets easier does it. Yes! They told me that il to 3 months. My friend had unexplained Infertility (she had one baby then tried for 4 years) and she got pregnant after the hsg. 🤞 xx

@J90A it's extremely annoying! We've ended up dtd every other day for 3 weeks before because each time we thought that was it and it wasn't 😂 again this month I though I'd ovulated 9 days ago but now my apps have changed it to 3 days ago and if that's right I've missed my chance again - and that was with bbt 🤦🏼‍♀️ so far I'm waiting to start clomid, that's the first help I've been offered, expecting a phone call from the consultant in a week to confirm when I start 🤞🏻

@Marvellouslymadmum I only ovulate about 3x a year without clomid. So no chance with tracking lol. God knows what happened this month I'm gutted clomid didn't work. That's a good sign if you ovulate without are you monitoring ? X

@J90A I have heard that too so fingers crossed. Hoping the HSG isn't too bad, I have been told I'm ok to take clomid this cycle as I'm having HSG on day 9 so shouldn't have ovulated.
How do you know you haven't ovulated? Did you do a day 21 test? X

@s154 the nurses said I would've had a BFP by now so mustnt have ovulated. I will find out for certain when I get my urine tracking results. I'm to go in tomorrow will hopefully get results and maybe a scan will see tomorrow. Xx

@J90A I would take a guess that they need to up your dose. I do ovulate eventually most months but in the last 8 months I've had four very long cycles, 43,51 and 53 days which is a nightmare! I'm not sure what monitoring I'll get yet, I should find out next Monday
